The Dispatch crane password in Episode 6 is Left, Left, Left, Right. On keyboard, that’s A, A, A, D. If the lock keeps saying the code is wrong, count the arrows again. The third one looks like a right arrow, and that trips up a lot of players. The hack matters more than it seems, too. A win adds 2 points to your Robert Mentor Counter, and a fail takes 2 away.

Where the Crane Hack Shows Up in Episode 6
The crane hack comes near the end of Episode 6. Invisigal goes after the Astral Pulse alone, and Robert can only help from his PC through five hacking boards at the dock. The crane is the fourth one, right after the speaker tower.
By then Invisigal is stuck, and Robert promises to find her a way around. The crane is how he does it. Once it moves, the captain’s quarters are right in front of her.
Why the Crane Password Keeps Getting Rejected
The code sits on the purple lock. At a glance it reads as two lefts and two rights, but the third arrow also points left. Lots of players typed Left, Left, Right, Right and couldn’t see the mistake, even after they checked the screen several times. If the lock rejects you, count each arrow before you blame a bug.
How to Reach the Password on the Crane Board
Robert even complains that the crane has the hardest controls, but the board itself is short. Two Antiviruses guard it:
- Pick the top path or the bottom one. Each opens with a short two-arrow sequence.
- Lure one Antivirus toward you and stay clear of the other. Two on your tail is where most runs fall apart.
- Grab the electrical charge behind the blocked road. It’s there on both sides, so you can zap the Antivirus that follows you.
- Move to the lock and enter Left, Left, Left, Right.
When the code goes through, a system override message shows up and the crane clears Invisigal’s route.
What Happens If You Fail the Crane Hack
The story keeps going, but 2 points come off your Robert Mentor Counter. Only the speaker tower hits that counter as hard, so the crane is one of the two dock hacks you really don’t want to miss. Your total decides whether Robert gets the good or bad mentor ending with Invisigal.
If the boards stress you out, you can turn on unlimited hacking attempts in the settings. Just know that it rules out the H4ck3d by R0b3rt achievement, since that one asks you to clear the Dispatch hacking minigames without a single fail.
