ROB RUN Cars: All Vehicles, Prices & Unlock Requirements

In Kefir’s ROB RUN, cars are more than a way to get around Looty Bay. You can use them to carry loot and reach robbery spots. They’re also useful when you want to get away from the cops. So, choosing the best car depends on what you need most. It could be how much loot it can carry or how well the car performs when you’re on the run.

I’ll cover the available cars and their stats. I’ll also go over the research requirements and prices. Then I’ll explain how you can rent or buy one.

All ROB RUN Cars: Stats & Unlock Requirements

ROB RUN has seven different cars, each with different driving stats and storage capacities. A couple of the cheaper ones are fine if you just need something to get around, but the rest either offer better performance or give you more room when you’re carrying loot.

The November 5 update jacked up vehicle prices, which means any numbers from the playtest may be basically useless now. What you see above are the updated prices.

One other thing: after the November 4 update, the Buletti Soltempra can’t haul shipments anymore. It’s still the fastest car on the list, with the highest acceleration, but I wouldn’t pick it if you’re trying to move cargo.

Best Cars in ROB RUN

I wouldn’t call any one car the best at everything. Some are better when you need to haul a lot of loot. Others just let you go fast and evade the cops. Here are the best options for different situations.

Best Car for Carrying Cargo

Both the Longhorn Van and the Longhorn Titan give you six cargo slots. The Van is the cheaper of the two and also has eight trunk rows, so it works pretty well early on if you’re mainly looking for space.

The Titan costs $900,000. It performs a lot better, with 55 speed and 45 acceleration compared with the Van’s 30 speed and 20 acceleration. The Longhorn Titan requires the Longhorn Van and Tier II, but the Longhorn Van doesn’t have any requirements. That said, if you want something that can still haul a decent amount of stuff without feeling as sluggish as the Van, the Titan is the one I’d look at.

And if you’re hauling shipments, I’ve also covered whether it’s better to open or sell cargo in ROB RUN once you bring it back.

Best Car for Speed

The Buletti Soltempra tops the list on paper with 90 speed and 95 acceleration. It only has two trunk rows, though, and no cargo slots at all. Its handling stat is 40.

The Longhorn Wild is another quick one: 75 speed and 90 acceleration, but the handling drops all the way to 20, which is a real compromise.

I wouldn’t pick either of these just because the acceleration number looks high. When you’re trying to whip around a corner or squeeze through tight streets to get away, handling makes a bigger difference for sure.

Cheapest Cars in ROB RUN

The Longhorn Van is the cheapest option on the list at $180,000. The Fukurou Tensa costs just $20,000 more. The Van gives you way more room to store stuff. The Fukurou accelerates better if you just want something that gets you around town without feeling sluggish. It really comes down to what you need more right now: extra cargo space or a quicker ride.

How to Rent a Free Car in ROB RUN

If you want to rent a free car in ROB RUN, just go to the nearest Parking Terminal. If you don’t already have an active vehicle, you can grab a free rental. It’s handy when you’re broke and still figuring things out. So, you don’t have to buy a car right off the bat. With this free rental system, you can still get around Looty Bay without owning one.

Buy and Own a Car

If you want to own your own car in ROB RUN, you’ll need a plot with a house or garage first. Once you have that, you can buy a car and stash the key in your key locker. One thing to keep in mind: unlocking a car and buying it are two different steps.

You have to research the model through the progression system before it shows up for sale on the Trade Laptop.

Upgrade Cars in ROB RUN

Vehicle modules in ROB RUN let you improve different parts of your car. You can stick them under the hood or in the trunk. Some of them go on the underbody instead, depending on what you’re changing. Here are all car upgrades and what they do.

I’d focus on cargo upgrades if I mainly use my car to haul loot. For getaway vehicles, I’d prioritize acceleration and handling. The Police Radio is another option worth considering if you want more information about nearby patrols.

You can swing by the city auto repair shop if you want to swap vehicle modules. Or you can just build a lift at your base and do it there instead of driving all the way into town.

How to Use Your Car During Heists

Even a fast car won’t always save you during a heist in ROB RUN. You still have to think about where you park and how you’re getting out. Before I put my mask on, I park somewhere I can leave in a hurry. I also make sure I know at least one other way out in case the cops shut down the route I planned.

Even with the cheaper cars you start with, tight turns and shortcuts work better than a straight-line attempt to outrun the cops. Cops can close bridges and set up roadblocks, so if you run into a roadblock, there’s no point trying to ram through it. Just take a different route.

How to Get a Helicopter

Helicopters in ROB RUN work differently from regular cars, but they’re worth mentioning if you want to know about all the vehicles you can own. You can only buy one chopper if your base is in the central district. You can also find one in loot if you get lucky.

The Romanov R8 is a helicopter that costs $2 million to research and $10 million to buy. You’ll need a helipad to store it at your base.

At the end of the day, I’d grab a cheaper car first instead of dumping all my money into the fastest thing available. The Longhorn Van gives you a lot of storage for the price. The Fukurou Tensa accelerates better if you want to get around quickly. Once you have more cash, the Longhorn Titan and Royal J give you a better balance of cargo space and performance.

The November 5 update raised vehicle prices, so check the Trade Laptop before you buy anything. And if you’re using your car for heists, a solid escape route can matter just as much as the stats.

FAQ

Can other players steal from your car in ROB RUN?

Yes, other players can break into your car and steal from it. So watch your trunk. You can buy lockpicks on the Black Market and use them on anyone’s trunk, including cop cars. So don’t treat your car like a safe place to store stuff.
