Dispatch Episode 4 Walkthrough

Dispatch Episode 4, Restructure, throws a challenge at you right from the beginning. Your decision in Episode 3 means you lose a team member early in your first shift. Because you are understaffed, you will face a brutal dispatch sequence. You might panic when you see low success rates and fail multiple calls here. The game actually expects you to struggle to show the impact of the missing member.

In this guide, we will cover every dialogue choice, relationship impact, and the exact stats you need to survive this difficult first shift. We also included the instant success options so you can manage your team better. If you want to see how your choices affect the bigger picture, take a look at our Dispatch all endings guide.

Early Conversations and Morality Choices

After the weird opening scene of Invisigal’s dream, you will see the fallout from your past choice. You will get pranked by Flambae and either Malevola or Punch Up. After this initial cutscene, you will face several dialogue choices that shape Robert.

SDN Office and Royd’s Lab

Chase will talk to you at your desk about the team member you cut. You must choose one of the following dialogues. This is a morality choice:

  • They can join them. (+1 Antihero)
  • Maybe it was a mistake. (+1 True Hero)
  • It’s harmless. (+1 True Hero)

Next, you will head to the workshop. Royd is busy fixing the Mecha Man suit. He asks you to show him what you can do. You can pick any of the following actions. They only change the immediate cutscene and will not have lasting consequences:

  • SHADOW BOX
  • SPLIT KICK
  • JUMPING JACKS

Invisigal shows up at the lab shortly after. She asks you a question, and you must make another morality choice.

  • All the time. (+1 Antihero)
  • Why do you want to know? (+1 True Hero)
  • Never. (+1 True Hero)

Blond Blazer and Phenomaman Interactions

Your next stop is Blond Blazer’s office. She is trying on a dress for a Gala and needs some help. After you assist her, she asks how she looks. You will face two sets of dialogue options here.

The first option is a morality choice:

  • Looks good. (+1 Antihero)
  • Your areola’s showing. (+1 True Hero)
  • It’s too small. (+1 True Hero)

The second option will be remembered and directly affects your relationship with her:

  • Incredible. (Increases your relationship with her)
  • You look tucked in. (Neutral relationship)
  • Kinda pretty, I guess. (Neutral relationship)

After that, Blazer sends you outside to the parking lot. Phenomaman is lying on a car and feeling depressed. You need to choose how to lift his spirit. The first choice has no consequences:

  • Don’t extinguish the sun.
  • Do you have a therapist?
  • I’ve had those days.

After he replies, you get a second dialogue prompt. The game will remember this choice, and the options vary depending on your past actions:

  • I don’t think so.
  • “Maybe there is” or “I kissed her.” (You only get the kiss option if you kissed Blazer in previous chapters. If you tell him the truth, he will remember it, but it decreases your relationship with Phenomaman).
  • That’s not your business.

You will then head to the bathroom to pull glass shards from your chest. Invisigal enters and talks about her dream. You can choose any reply here without consequences.

  • Was my d*ck big?
  • How was I?
  • Did I wear a condom?

First Dispatch Shift Strategy

The first dispatch session is notoriously difficult. Either Punch Up or Malevola will leave early during this shift. You will face a severe shortage of staff while 3 to 6 missions pop up at once. Many players complain about failing calls here because their success rates drop below 50%.

A community trick is to prioritize missions that have “instant success” options. If you assign the exact right hero, you guarantee a win and free up your other heroes for the remaining calls.

Note: If all missions pop up at the exact same time, you might have a game bug. Exit to the main menu and resume your last save to fix it.

Instant Success Missions

Send these specific heroes alone to save your team members for harder calls:

  • Comically Yours: Send Invisigal. Choose “Mecha Man Prime” first. Then select her exclusive option: “It can’t hit what it can’t see”.
  • Superhero Squabble in Aisle 9: Send Prism. Choose her exclusive condition: “Mediate the argument”.
  • Nostalgically Yours: Send Flambae. Choose “The Wolves Inside Us” first. Then select his exclusive condition: “Incinerate the bomb and the game”.
  • Car Drives Off Cliff: Send Flambae or Coupe. Use their flying exclusive condition to “Fly them to the hospital”.

Break Room Choices and The New Member

When the first shift is over, you unlock a new item called Band-Aid Pharmacy. It removes an Injury. You will then cut to the Break Room. Here, you must decide how to react when Flambae throws a cup of noodles at Waterboy.

Both choices lead to the same outcome where Flambae is covered in food and interrupted by Blazer. However, the game will remember your reaction:

  • PROTEIN SHAKE
  • SPAGHETTI

Shortly after, Blond Blazer enters the room. She asks you to pick the final member to add to the Z Team. You must choose between Waterboy and Phenomaman. The hero you pick will stay for the remaining episodes and change future interactions. To learn more about unlocking all trophies for this game, check out our Dispatch achievement and trophy guide.

  • If you choose Phenomaman, you unlock the “Gave Him a Second Chance” achievement.
  • If you choose Waterboy, you unlock the “Gave Him His First Shot” achievement.

Discern the Target Hacking Sequence

The “Discern the Target” mission has a hacking puzzle. Follow these steps to complete it successfully:

  1. Move left to the first Build Path and complete the sequence. The Antivirus will start moving left and right.
  2. Wait for the Antivirus to move to the left side. Use the same Build Path again to trap it there.
  3. Head to the top-right Build Path. Access the first part of the code: Right, Right, Down.
  4. Return to the same Build Path to close the route.
  5. Move down to the next Build Path, trap the Antivirus, and open the path back up.
  6. Wait until the Antivirus moves right. Use the same Build Path to trap it on the right side.
  7. Go to the top-left Build Path. Unlock the second part of the code: Left, Left, Up.
  8. Go back toward the start and move down to the lock space. Type the full code: Left, Left, Up, Right, Right, Down.
  9. Trap the Antivirus on the left again, open the right path, and move fast to the exit.

Evening Plans: Dinner or a Movie

After the shift, you have a conversation with your new hero. All choices lead to the same outcome but will be remembered.

If you picked Phenomaman, you can say:

  • That’s not healthy.
  • How do you know?
  • I don’t believe that.

If you picked Waterboy, you can say:

  • You expect failure.
  • You second-guess everything.
  • Believe in yourself.

Then, you face the final and the most important choice of the episode. You must decide how to spend your evening. This choice directly affects your future romance options. You must choose dinner to progress the Blonde Blazer romance path. Alternatively, you can pick the movie night to advance your Invisigal romance storyline.

  • DINNER WITH BLAZER (+ relationship with Blazer)
  • MOVIE WITH INVISIGAL (+ relationship with Invisigal and +5 Good Mentor Point)

If you choose Dinner with Blazer, you will face these dialogue options:

  • Why care what I think?
  • KISS HER (+ relationship with Blazer)
  • You could’ve dressed up

If you choose Movie with Invisigal, you will face these dialogue options:

  • Thought we already were. (+1 Good Mentor Point)
  • We’re getting there.
  • Do you want to be?

After watching the cutscene for your chosen evening plan, the episode ends.
