Queen’s Domain Books: All 6 Locations & Tower of Knowledge Puzzle Solution

Queen’s Domain books for the Tower of Knowledge puzzle had me check every corner of the Tower of Knowledge before I realized 2 of the 6 aren’t even there. They (Rubedo and Upim’s Fairy Tales) are hidden in caves and that’s only half the puzzle. Even after you find all 6, you’ll need the correct shelf order to unlock Tower Storage and claim the rewards.
I’ll show you where to find all six books and the correct shelf order, so you can solve the puzzle and claim the Tower Storage rewards without wasting any more time.

All 6 Library Books: Locations and Correct Shelf Order
To solve the Tower of Knowledge puzzle in Queen’s Domain and unlock Tower Storage, place all six books on the numbered shelves in the following order:
| Shelf | Section | Book Name | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | Alchemic Recipes | The Great Work IV – Rubedo | Cave beneath the Cemetery |
| II | Fantastical Creatures | The History of Dragons | Reward from Wourha after Bestiary progress |
| III | Construction Techniques | Dams and Weirs | Bookshelf near the Tower of Knowledge teleporter |
| IV | Fairy Tales | Upim’s Fairy Tales | Cave near Obmuer Temple |
| V | Eldritch Horror | The Old Ones Beyond | Behind a hidden wall in the Tower library |
| VI | Queer Romance | Koko’s Sapphic Adventure | Upper Tower of Knowledge library |

Four of the books are right inside the Tower of Knowledge, but Rubedo and Upim’s Fairy Tales are both outside. I’d grab those two first. They’re a lot easier to overlook.
If you haven’t unlocked the Tower of Knowledge yet, our Queen’s Domain puzzle guide covers how to activate the three Gargoyle beacons.
Where to Find All 6 Library Books in Queen’s Domain
The six Queen’s Domain library books are scattered through the Tower of Knowledge and the caves beneath the Cemetery and near Obmuer Temple. Here’s exactly where to find each one and the fastest way to reach it.
Upim’s Fairy Tales Location
Head over to Obmuer Temple on the second island and look for the cave entrance near the raiders’ shipwreck. You’ll need Air Dashes to get across to it. Once you’re inside, just follow the dark tunnel until you reach a large opening with the giant tree down below.

Don’t drop all the way to the bottom. Jump into the opening and Air Dash straight toward the upper ledges. Circle around the tree until you find the small lit-up spot with the food tray and the skeleton. The book’s sitting right next to them. If you end up in the Rotting Cavern, you’ve gone too far. That’s one detour you really don’t want to take.
The Great Work IV – Rubedo Location
Head back to the starting island and go below the Cemetery. Check the cliffs under the pyramid for a cave entrance with an egg sitting right outside. Go in and take the stairs down. In the chamber below, you’ll see a throwable stone cube near the middle.

The book’s on an altar just to the right of the stone cube. You can Air Dash over to the altar from the stairs or from the central pedestal.
The Old Ones Beyond Location
In the Tower of Knowledge library, look above the room’s entrance for a secret wall. Go through the hidden wall and you’ll find a skeleton. Take it out and you’ll get The Old Ones Beyond.

The History of Dragons Location
You get the book The History of Dragons from Wourha, the NPC in the upper Tower library. She gives it to you after you’ve cataloged enough enemies in your Bestiary. If she still hasn’t handed over The History of Dragons, just keep filling out that Bestiary and go talk to her again.

Koko’s Sapphic Adventure Location
Head up to the library room where Wourha is. Koko’s Sapphic Adventure is in that same room, so check the books there before you start searching the other floors of the Tower.

Dams and Weirs Location
Head over to the Tower of Knowledge teleporter and face toward the Tower. There’s a bookshelf nearby with Dams and Weirs sitting on the bottom shelf. It’s easy to walk right past it since the book doesn’t really stand out.

How to Solve the Tower of Knowledge Bookshelf Puzzle
Once you’ve collected all six books, head back to the numbered bookshelves. The shelf order isn’t random. There’s a note on the desk near the last numbered shelf that explains the subject categories for slots I through VI. Just match each book to its category. Simple as that.
- I: Alchemic Recipes – Place The Great Work IV – Rubedo here.
- II: Fantastical Creatures – Place The History of Dragons here.
- III: Construction Techniques – Place Dams and Weirs here.
- IV: Fairy Tales – Place Upim’s Fairy Tales here.
- V: Eldritch Horror – Place The Old Ones Beyond here.
- VI: Queer Romance – Place Koko’s Sapphic Adventure here.
Just follow the book order from the table above to finish the puzzle and open Tower Storage.
Queen’s Domain Tower Storage Rewards
Solving the six-book puzzle opens a storage room that has a Mechanical Lance weapon inside. You’ll also find another collectible book called Wodaso’s Embrace. Look to the right as you walk into the unlocked room, near the gate. Don’t leave it behind. You’ll need Wodaso’s Embrace later for a separate puzzle involving the gods’ books.
Why Your Queen’s Domain Library Puzzle Won’t Work
If Tower Storage won’t open, double-check the order you placed the books in. Each numbered shelf is tied to a specific subject. If you’re missing any book, head back to the Tower teleporter for Dams and Weirs or check your Bestiary progress with Wourha if you’re still waiting on The History of Dragons.
For Upim’s Fairy Tales, make sure you grab it from the ledges around the giant tree instead of dropping down into the Rotting Cavern.
Do You Need More Books for the Late Fee Achievement?
Yeah, the six library books will open Tower Storage, but they’re not the full collection you need for the I’m Not Paying the Late Fee achievement.
There are other book slots and puzzles around the Tower, including a separate god-book setup. Don’t assume unlocking the storage room means you’ve completed the achievement.
