ROB RUN Cop: How to Become a Cop and Get Paid

ROB RUN cop duty puts the patrol car on your side for a change. If you’ve had enough of the police on your tail after every Looty Bay heist, why not join them instead? You can earn a paycheck as an officer, but don’t expect a badge to make you bulletproof. Here’s how to join the police and what comes with the job.

How to Become a Cop in ROB RUN

To become a cop in ROB RUN, head to the Looty Bay Police Station and enlist if there’s an open slot. The department gives you standard police gear and a patrol vehicle, so you won’t need to bring your own car.

The catch is that police slots are limited. If there aren’t any available, you can’t enlist at that moment.

Your job as an officer is to fight crime and seize contraband. You also have your own badge progression, which gives you access to better equipment as your badge level increases.

ROB RUN Police Badges, Gear and Salary

Police work isn’t just about chasing criminals around Looty Bay. You earn a paycheck for fighting crime and confiscating contraband.

You can also purchase police badges, although the available selection depends on your home district.

The November 4 balance changes reduced the number of badges earned through salaries and looting. Patrol cops also start with pistols on fresh servers, while stronger equipment becomes available as the server ages.

If the police force needs more officers, you’ll receive a backup request. Answer the call and you’ll get upgraded gear along with a temporary pay boost. I’d keep an eye out for those requests. A little extra cash never hurts.

What Happens When a Cop Dies in ROB RUN?

Wearing a police uniform doesn’t make you immortal, unfortunately. If you die as a cop, you lose your department-issued gear, but your personal items and equipment stay safe.

Death also comes with a longer respawn delay. The November 4 balance changes increased police respawn times, with an additional delay for each consecutive death.

So, I’d think twice before charging straight into a gunfight. Your personal equipment might be safe, but that won’t get you back into action any faster.

How Surrender and Bribes Work in ROB RUN

Not every encounter between a cop and a criminal has to end in a gunfight.

Criminals can surrender to the police, but they’ll lose everything in their bag. Their equipped gear, however, stays safe.

There’s also the option to bribe an officer. A criminal with money in their bank account can offer a payment instead of surrendering their loot. If the cop accepts the bribe, the criminal keeps their bag contents and the officer receives the money.

Of course, there’s a catch. The officer has to accept the offer, so a bribe isn’t a guaranteed way to save your loot.

How to Clear Criminal Status in ROB RUN

If you’re on the other side of the law, putting on a mask allows you to commit robberies in Looty Bay. It also makes you a target for police officers. Other criminals can attack you, too.

To clear your Criminal status in ROB RUN, you need to leave the city. The next time you enter Looty Bay, you can choose your role again.

So, if you’ve had enough of life as a criminal, your way out is simple: leave Looty Bay and come back with a different career in mind.

Vincent’s gaming journey started early. At five he got a PlayStation 1 and spent hours diving into every game he could find. At eleven he switched to PC, and the real obsession began with GTA, PES 2009, and Need for Speed. These days he mostly plays Dota 2 and Counter-Strike, still chasing that competitive thrill. As a writer he keeps things clear and practical — players just want the answer so they can get back into the game.
