Sacred Tear Locations

Elden Ring Callu Baptismal Church Sacred Tear Location

The Elden Ring Callu Baptismal Church is on the Weeping Peninsula, and it’s one of three churches in the region hiding a Sacred Tear. The catch is the whole place is crawling with frenzied rats, which can genuinely ruin your day. The good news is you don’t actually have to fight any of them if you don’t want to. Here’s exactly where to find the church and how to grab the Tear.

Callu Baptismal Church Location

The church is on the Weeping Peninsula, south of Limgrave. It is on a forested plateau right in the center of the region, directly next to the road leading down to Castle Morne Rampart. Ailing Village is just north of it, and the two are close enough that most players stumble onto one right after clearing the other.

How to Get to Callu Baptismal Church

Start at the Bridge of Sacrifice Site of Grace, the main gateway into the Weeping Peninsula. Head south along the main road and up the hill until Ailing Village comes into view. The church is just past it. Keep working your way south, and once you reach the wall bordering the area, turn west and circle back up to reach the church entrance.

Do yourself a favor and rest at the Ailing Village Outskirts Site of Grace first. It is right north of the church, so you can restock Flasks before dealing with whatever’s waiting inside.

Callu Baptismal Church Sacred Tear Location

Inside the church, the Sacred Tear sits right in front of the Marika statue at the far end. The place is packed with Frenzied Rats and a Giant Rat or two, plus a few Frenzied Villagers hanging around the campfire outside the entrance.

Honestly, you don’t need to fight any of it. A group of rats can lower your health fast if you get surrounded. So just sprint past them to grab the Tear and get out. Nothing is stopping you from skipping the fight entirely. (Except your Souls-infested obsessive mind)

Once you’ve got it, use it at any Site of Grace to permanently boost how much HP and FP your Flask of Crimson Tears and Flask of Cerulean Tears restore.

Other Loot at Callu Baptismal Church

Check the glowing body in the middle of the church for The Flame of Frenzy, an incantation tied to the Frenzied Flame questline. The area around the church and village also has a few crafting materials worth grabbing on your way through:

ItemType
Eye of YeloughCrafting material
Rowa FruitCrafting material
Erdleaf FlowerCrafting material
FulgurbloomCrafting material

None of it’s rare, but it’s free pickup on a route you’re already running for the Sacred Tear.

If you’ve done everything right, you should be able to upgrade your Flask of Crimson Tears and Flask of Cerulean Tears by resting at a Site of Grace.
