How to Unlock Kold Mirage Quest in Cyberpunk 2077
To start this mission, you must first complete the Spellbound side job and obtain the Book of Spells. After that, the Kold Mirage quest becomes available in Cyberpunk 2077. Or you can simply go the dumped fridge in the Eastern Wasteland to initiate the quest (as marked in the screenshot below).

Once you receive the coordinates after completing the Spellbound side job, head to the landfill site in the Badlands. This is the same location where Dexter DeShawn dumps V during the main story of Cyberpunk 2077.

Not far from Dexter’s body (where you can also collect his iconic pistol, Plan B), you will spot a refrigerator half-buried in the landfill. Open it to discover a corpse inside, which prompts Johnny Silverhand to comment on the grim scene.
Scan the body in the refrigerator and to find the cyberdeck inside. After continuing your discussion with Johnny, collect the cyberdeck and head to the Afterlife. In there, you should go to Nix’s office and talk to him.
When you get there, present the cyberdeck to Nix to verify that it is authentic. After he is satisfied that it truly belongs to Bartmoss, set it down and wait as he jacks in and starts the decryption process.
During the attempt to decrypt the cyberdeck, the situation will quickly deteriorate as it begins to malfunction. With Nix at risk, you will have to move fast to save him.
To save Nix, you have two choices. The first is to take the safer route by overriding the yellow electrical box mounted on the wall beside the door. Keep in mind that this will result in the loss of the cyberdeck’s data.
The other option is to attempt a breach of the computer positioned next to the netrunner chair. Successfully completing the hack will allow you to save both Nix and the data stored on the cyberdeck. After saving Nix, you will have one last conversation before receiving your reward.
