Hidden Quests

Cyberpunk 2077 The Highwayman Quest

Cyberpunk 2077 The Highwayman quest is a unique hidden mission because it has no quest marker at the start and no objective waypoints. Instead, progress depends on careful interpretation of contextual clues that lead to each location. This design makes the mission easy to miss or abandon without outside guidance.

This guide provides clear steps to complete The Highwayman quest in Cyberpunk 2077 and unlock the exclusive Tyger Claw motorcycle reward.

How to Enable The Highwayman Quest in Cyberpunk 2077

The Highwayman won’t randomly appear on the map or in your journal like other side jobs might. You must start this side job on your own. Head to Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo (the location we marked in the screenshot below).

Then, you will see a garage (as pictured below). Open the garage and interact with the bike that leans against the wall. After that, examine the photo beside the computer on the desk to the left inside the garage. Read the laptop messages first if the photo won’t trigger.

Your main objective is to find James and find out what happened to Josie. Now, go to the marked location in the picture below (Japantown, Westbrook).

You will find James seated on a bench. Talk to him and then go to the metro station in the south of Memorial Park in The Glen, Heywood.

Once there, use your scanner to find some blood droplets on the ground. Follow them to a nearby alleyway and behind a dumpster, you will find Josie’s body. Afterward, return to James on the same bench in Japantown and inform him of Josie’s fate. If you choose “You pathetic piece of sh**”, a fight will follow. Defeat him to finish the side job.

Next, travel to Northside in Watson and locate Josie’s secret garage. Enter the code 0214 at the door to gain access, where you will find the stolen bike. You may claim it as your own if you choose.
