You have two choices for ROB RUN cargo. Sell it to the Smuggler for cash right away, or open it at a Cargo Workbench on your plot. Opening pays more since the latest patch, but it takes anywhere from 10 seconds to 60 minutes. If you need money now, sell it.

Should You Open or Sell ROB RUN Cargo?
Sell when you need cash. It is the fast option, and you don’t need a base.
Open when you have a plot and can wait. Opening gives you the items inside, and you can sell those or use them for upgrades. Some of these items are needed for settlement upgrades, and the Black Market doesn’t sell them.
How to Open Cargo at a Cargo Workbench
The Cargo Workbench goes on your own plot, so you need a base first. You also have to unlock the workbench before you can buy it.
- 1- Rent a plot in a settlement.
- 2- Press H, open Shipments and unlock the Cargo Workbench.
- 3- Buy it from the Black Market, either through Lenny or on the laptop at your base.
- 4- Place it on your plot and open your cargo there.
Each cargo opens after its Open time. Items you place in the workbench can speed this up. Not every cargo uses the Cargo Workbench, so check the table below first.

The table is sorted by Open time, then by price.
Delivery revenue is the base price before bonuses. The Smuggler adds bonuses for location and Notoriety.

The most valuable cargo is the Unique Collection Crate at $500,000. Golden Statue ($250,000) and Expensive Safe ($200,000) come next. Valuable Cargo and Rare Collection Crate sell for $150,000 each.
Some cargo comes in grades. Uncommon, Epic and Legendary versions of the same cargo sell at different prices. Hard Crystals go for $30,000, $45,000 or $75,000, and Weapon Parts Box ranges from $25,000 to $120,000.
Collection Crates come from a Collection Table at your plot. You pack stolen items into a collection there, and a complete collection is worth more than the items alone.
Contraband Cargo sells for only $10,000, but it has a better use.
Don’t sell Contraband Cargo as it is. Selling raw contraband is quick, but it pays almost nothing. Repack it at a Contraband Workbench and it turns into more expensive cargo.
Where to Sell Cargo
Sell cargo to the Smuggler at a Smuggler’s Van. The price depends on the location and your Notoriety. At the top Notoriety level, the Smuggler pays up to 50% more.
Notoriety rises when you chain robberies in one visit to the city. Solo players and duos start with a higher level.
Every delivery to the Smuggler also fills a Cargo Sheet. A full Cargo Sheet can be sold for a good price. To get one, unlock it through Shipments and buy it at the Black Market. You need to live in a level 2 settlement or higher.
How to Get Cargo
Cargo missions give you cargo to deliver. You pick up a cargo and drop it off. The drop-off is hard, but the pay is good.
Valuable Cargo events are another source. Clear the area first, then load your vehicle and leave. Before heading out, check our ROB RUN cars guide to pick a vehicle with enough cargo slots for the job.
You can also intercept another player’s delivery and take the cargo. Your base makes cargo too, like the Growing Bush from a Grow Room.
How to Keep Cargo Safe
A Criminal who dies in Looty Bay loses their inventory. Anyone who dies in the desert loses all loot. Cargo stored at your base can be raided, and Lenny only stores cash.
