Episode 4

Which Mecha Man Contains the Bomb in Dispatch? (Comically Yours Guide)

The answer is Mecha Man Prime. Send Invisigal on the call and pick her exclusive line, “It can’t hit what it can’t see,” and Comically Yours ends without a single skill check. No Invisigal on hand? You’ll need a hero with 7 Combat or 7 Mobility instead. That’s the whole call. If you want the reasoning, or what to do without Invisigal, keep reading.

The Correct Answer: Mecha Man Prime

Jerry from Comic Pug calls in worried about a batch of Mecha Man replicas he just got sent, given everything else going on with bomb threats around town. Once your hero clears the shop, the game shows three toy options and asks which one is rigged.

A wrong guess doesn’t cost you anything. The game loops you back to try again, so there’s no reason to stress over it if you blank on the answer mid-shift.

Send Invisigal and Skip the Skill Check

Once you pick Mecha Man Prime, the bomb starts buzzing around the store. If Invisigal is the hero on the call, a dialogue option unlocks that none of the other heroes get: “It can’t hit what it can’t see.” Pick that line and the mission resolves on the spot. No dice roll, no stat gate, nothing to fail.

That line only shows up because of who Invisigal is as a character. Invisibility is her whole thing, so a flying mini-bot can’t lock onto her.

No Invisigal? Here’s the Skill Check

Send anyone else and you’ll get two options instead of Invisigal’s free pass. The requirement is 7 in both stats, and the two resolution options split between them, not Intellect.

Comically Yours Is Part of the Brainteaser Puzzle

This call isn’t standalone. It’s one of three missions, alongside Theatrically Yours and Nostalgically Yours, that the game later quizzes you on when you face the Brainteaser villain during the second shift. For the full set of riddle answers, check the Dispatch Brainteaser answers guide.

For the rest of your first shift, including the other calls and the full stat table for everything firing at once, the Dispatch Episode 4 walkthrough covers the whole sequence.
