How to Start the Landmarks of Riches Treasure Hunt in RDR2
In order to start this treasure hunt, you should head all the way west on the map. Northwest of Lake Owanjila and Strawberry, a little bit below where the Big Valley trapper is located, down the river. As shown in the picture, when you find the obelisk, inspect it to find the first map and get things started.

The Landmarks of Riches Map 1 Location
The Landmarks of Riches Map 1 takes you all the way to the southeastern part of the map, which is northwest of Saint Denis, just below Lagras.

When you get into the swamps of Bayou Nwa, look for the Tiny Church. Then climb onto the roof and search for the second map of the Landmarks of Riches treasure.
The Landmarks of Riches Map 2 Location
The Landmarks of Riches Map 2 points you to the northeast of Bacchus Station. A little bit below the letter I of Ambarino on the map, is where you want to go. That’s where the Mysterious Hill Home is located.

When you see this building, climb on it and search for a broken window to find the third map.
The Landmarks of Riches Map 3 Location
For the Landmarks of Riches Map 3, go to the south of Rhodes, east of the Braithwaite Manor text on the map. That’s the Civil War battle site, Bolger Glade.

You’ll know it when you see it. There are a lot of cannons lying around. Just beneath the L of Glade on the map, you can find a tree near a cannon. Inside a hole in the tree lies your final map.
The Landmarks of Riches Map 4 Location
To finally get to the Landmarks of Riches Map 4 location to get these elusive 6 gold bars, now you have to travel to Mount Shann, which is located in Big Valley. Just beneath the letter S of West Elizabeth on the map.

WARNING: Save your game manually before getting up there. It’s so easy to fall off the track.
As shown in the picture, you must scale the mountain to reach the top and get to the sundial. When you get there, inspect the sundial to claim your 6 gold bars, which are worth $3,000 once you sell them at any Fence.
Pro Tip: When you finally get your hands on those 6 gold bars of yours, save the game and reload. That way, you don’t have to climb back down this huge mountain. When you reload, you’ll spawn on the ground somewhere near the mountain.
