One of the least favorite treasures in RDR2 is definitely this one. Though it’s only a gold ingot, it still serves as one of the best ways to help you get by early in the game. It’s worth $300 once sold at any Fence. If you’re Arthur Morgan, you should know that even $50 early in Chapter 2 is like a fortune, let alone $300. That being said, here is the RDR2 Sketched Map treasure location.

How to Get Sketched Map in RDR2
Head to Reed Cottage, which is a small cottage north of Annesburg. There you can see that the cottage is painted red and dark gray. It’s obvious. You can’t miss it.
Get inside the house and in the chimney lies your Sketched Map.
Now, you’re half way there.
Sketched Map Treasure Location
The Sketched Map location is northwest of Elysian Pool, which is located southwest of Annesburg. To spot this easily, look next to the R letter of the Kamassa River on the map as shown in the picture.
It’s not too far. When you get to the location of the lone tree shown in the Sketched Map, you can see the whole Elysian Pool below. It’s a striking view for sure. On the tree, you can see an X marked on it.
X marks the spot. Just like what the map says, take 20 steps north then 5 steps east. Tada. Now, inspect the rock.
Arthur rolls the rock over to find 1 gold ingot that he surely deserves.

Sketched Map Treasure Not There?
If you’ve done all the steps and the Sketched Map treasure is not there for you, or you can’t pick it up, that’s a known bug. That happens because you have a gold ingot sitting in your inventory. Go ahead and sell that. Only then will you be able to pick the Sketched Map treasure up.
You might be wondering why the Sketched Map isn’t counted as a treasure map, though the name literally implies otherwise. That’s because the game itself doesn’t consider it a treasure map either. It’s placed in the Maps section of your satchel menu instead of Treasure Maps. It features a single location, whereas all other treasure maps, like the Jack Hall Gang Treasure Map and High Stakes Treasure Map, have a couple of parts to them.
