Probably Stolen Reducing Agent: Make Phanta Pills & Nomore Injectors

The Bottle of Reducing Agent comes only from Chemical Supplies packs and turns cleaned precursors into Phanta or Nomore. I’ll explain how exactly you can make Phanta or Nomore using this bottle. I’ll also provide every practical tip I’ve learned.
You’ll Read:
What Is Reducing Agent
A standard 250 ml bottle. Base value is only 3 credits, it is classified as a Household Good and it is not contraband, so security will not care that you own it.

Its in-game description is straightforward and it donates electrons to another substance and changes that substance’s chemical state. In practice this means it is the reagent that turns the processed precursor into the final active compound.
You only get it by unpacking Chemical Supplies (Restricted) packs. Each pack yields two precursor bottles (which contain a mix of N-Methylol Base and Stabilizing Agent) plus one Reducing Agent bottle. The common chemical packs do not contain it.
Why Cleaning Matters Before You Start
The restricted bottles arrive with random amounts of heavy metals and chemical contaminants. Ordinary filters and purification tablets cannot remove heavy metals once they are mixed in. For basic Dream Dust this rarely matters. For Phanta and Nomore it can drag purity down noticeably.
The most reliable method is to run the bottles through Gutter Tilapia first. They strip heavy metals and chemical contaminants while leaving the useful chemicals alone. At minimum, scan every bottle with the Composition Spectrometer and only use the cleanest ones for these recipes. Adding a dirty bottle is one of the faster ways to ruin an otherwise careful batch.
Recipe 1: Phanta Pills
Phanta is the high-temperature reaction. The precursor bottles do not arrive ready to use. They contain both N-Methylol Base and a Stabilizing Agent. The Stabilizing Agent protects the methylol from degrading in storage, but it also blocks the reaction you want. You have to remove it first.

Practical steps:
- Unpack the restricted pack.
- Add acid to destroy the Stabilizing Agent. It converts into debris.
- Water-filter the debris out, then neutralize any leftover acid so it does not interfere later.
- Measure the remaining N-Methylol volume. Add Reducing Agent at three-quarters of that volume (a 0.75:1 ratio). Using less reduces yield so using more leaves unreacted agent that you cannot easily remove.
- Heat the mixture on the Heating Plate to between 110°C and 130°C. The reaction runs fastest near the top of that range (around 120–129°C). Cross 130°C and the Phanta starts breaking down.
- After the reaction, residual chlorine is common. A purification tablet plus some water clears it.
- Evaporate until the batch is dry, then send it through the Chem Finisher.
Just 5 ml of successfully processed methylol yields one pill. If you measure carefully and keep the temperature under control, you can commonly 40–50 pills from a single restricted pack at usable purity.
The Heating Plate’s temperature-control upgrade is strongly recommended here. Manually babysitting a plate to stay under 130°C is possible but easy to mess up.
Recipe 2: Nomore Injectors

Nomore is the lower-temperature recipe and is built on Dream Cap Extract.
Practical steps:
- Produce Dream Cap Extract the normal way (blend the caps with alcohol, heat carefully in the 40–49°C range so you extract without turning the mush into plant matter, clean protein and debris, then evaporate).
- Evaporate the extract until it is dry. The reaction is sensitive to alcohol and more than about 10% alcohol will prevent it from proceeding properly.
- Add Reducing Agent in a 1:1 ratio with the dried extract.
- Add Lipobond at roughly one-third the volume of the extract (or about 0.25:1). Lipobond mainly speeds the reaction and is later boiled off. Shorting the Reducing Agent hurts final yield more than shorting the Lipobond.
- Heat to 50–55°C.
- Kotton-filter any remaining solids, evaporate fully, then finish into injectors.
Why the Ratios and Temperatures Are Tight
The Reducing Agent is consumed by the reaction. Add too little and you simply get less product. Add too much and the excess stays in the liquid because ordinary filters and the evaporator do not remove it. That leftover agent dilutes your purity.
Temperature windows exist for the same reason. Below the lower limit the reaction is slow or incomplete. Above the upper limit the product itself starts to degrade. Phanta is especially unforgiving on the high end, Nomore is more sensitive to leftover alcohol than to a few degrees of overshoot.
