OSRS Leagues 6 Guide | Everything You Need to Know

Leagues 6: Demonic Pacts is a massive, temporary game mode where every player starts from scratch as an Ironman. For the next two months, you’ll play on a separate save file with a base 5x experience multiplier and unlimited run energy. Unlike previous years, the kingdom of Misthalin is completely off-limits. In this OSRS Leagues 6 guide, I will cover everything from your beginning in Varlamore to the end.
What You’ll Read:
How OSRS Leagues 6 Progress Works
OSRS is basically completing OSRS tasks to earn League Points. These tasks range from simple skilling, like chopping down a tree, to endgame grinds, like completing raids or maxing your account.
Accumulating points serves two main purposes:
OSRS Leagues 6 Area Unlocks: You can unlock up to three additional regions beyond the starting Varlamore and Karamja.
Relics: These act as “cheat codes” that offer insane passive buffs. If you unlock more relics, your OSRS Leagues 6 XP multiplier will rise from 5x all the way to 16x, and unique item drop rates will increase up to 4x.
Regions to Unlock First
You start your journey in Varlamore, and Karamja is your first mandatory unlock. After that, you get to choose three more regions. Your choice depends entirely on what gear you want and which raids you plan to run.
- Asgarnia: This is the PVM bomb. You get God Wars Dungeon, Cerberus and OSRS Leagues 6 pest control. Its Echo boss is Cerberus, and he drops the Fang of the Hound.
- Desert: A must-have for mages. It unlocks Ancient Magicks and the Tombs of Amascut. You can get the Dragor Blowpipe from the Kalphite Queen here.
- Kandarin: Great for mid-game gear like Zenytes and Kraken loot. The Echo boss is the Smoke Devil, dropping the Shadow Flame Quadrant.
- Morytania: Pick this if you love Theater of Blood and Barrows. The Grotesque Guardians drop the Lithic Scepter.
- Kourend: This region offers Chambers of Xeric and the Alchemical Hydra. Hespori is the Echo boss, dropping the Nature’s Recurve bow.
- Tirannwn: Ideal for the Corrupted Gauntlet and Zulrah. The Echo boss Hunllef drops the Crystal Blessing.
- Wilderness: Safe PvP deaths and bosses like King Black Dragon. The KBD drops the King’s Barrage, a double-headed crossbow.
- Fremennik: Vorkath and Lunar spells are the main draws. The Dagannoth Kings drop V’s Helmet.

I recommend going for Asgarnia and Desert because you get the best PvM gear and powerful magic spells. Asgarnia unlocks God Wars Dungeon and Cerberus for high-tier upgrades. The Desert gives you access to the Tombs of Amascut raid and Ancient Magicks for your magic build. Other popular region combinations are KTM, KDA and FZW.
Note: When you unlock a region, prerequisite quests are finished automatically. Although you lose out on the XP rewards. So do a quest manually before unlocking the region, if you want extra XP.
Relics and Synergies
Relics are the lifeblood of any OSRS Leagues 6 route. Some relics are strong on their own, but others truly shine when you pair them with specific gear or training methods.
Tier 1 Relics
If you want an easier time farming a quick Abyssal Dagger, Abundance is a great starting choice. Alternatively, Enhanced Harvest lets you jump straight into automated fishing and woodcutting.
Read my OSRS Leagues 6 Fishing Guide to learn more about fishing.
Tier 2 Relics
Hotfoot allows you to automatically cook and smelt just by running agility laps. Friendly Forager is another amazing pick here since it forces high-tier herb drops and saves your secondary ingredients.
Tier 3 Relics
For smooth pathing and highly efficient bossing, Evil Eye is the standout option in this bracket.
Tier 4 Relics
This tier is where things get completely broken. Conniving Clue turns clue contracts into free, endless teleports across the map. Butler’s Belt gives you zero-time crafting experience, while Transmutation offers fast magic leveling and massive overall account power.
Tier 5 Relics
The Larcenist absolutely changes the game at this stage. Equip the Rogue’s outfit alongside it to unlock an insane 20x loot multiplier.
Tier 7 Relics
Reloaded is an absolute lifesaver late in the game. It lets you circle back and claim any powerful skilling or combat relics you were forced to skip previously.
Tier 8 Relics
For your endgame slot, the Flask of Fervor gives you instant, massive prayer and health restoration during intense raid battles. Otherwise, Minion is perfect because it summons a thrall that automatically targets enemy weaknesses.

Day 1 OSRS Leagues 6 Tasks Guide
Your main goal on Day 1 is to unlock the Karamja region and your Tier 2 Relic as fast as possible. This requires completing roughly 80 tasks. You can follow one of the specific routes below to avoid wasting time running across the map.
The Varlamore Scavenge
Dump your heavy starter gear you got from the Leagues tutor, snatch bakery cakes for food, and pickpocket to level 20 Thieving to afford your tools. Next, hit Ralos’ Rise to mine 15 Copper and Tin. Finally, take the Quetzal network to the Hunter’s Guild, gather farm veggies (potatoes, onions, sweetcorn, wheat), and milk, then kill a buffalo.
Who this is for: Players wanting to rush gathering tasks and secure a free OSRS Leagues 6food supply.
The Civitas GP Spike
To hit level 20 Crafting, grab a glassblowing pipe from the port and make beer glasses. Then, fund your new Player-Owned House by abusing Toci’s Gem Store in Aldarin. You can quickly print over 300,000 GP by buying uncut sapphires for 25 GP, cutting them, and flipping them back for 175 GP.
Who this is for: Gamers looking to fast-track upgrades by building massive early wealth.
Outskirts Skilling & Karamja Unlock
Grind Firemaking and Woodcutting to level 15 in the outskirts, then fish the coast until level 20. Clear your easy combat tasks by taking out a scorpion, five chickens, and five bunnies. Cap it off by Earth-striking an Imp, scattering its ashes in Yama’s Lair, and tossing a Slayer Staff into Death’s Coffer for 30 fast points.
Who this is for: Efficiency chasers speedrunning the 80 tasks needed for a day-one Karamja unlock.

Early Combat Masteries and Builds
Leagues 6 introduces a massive combat mastery tree with 40 points to spend. You earn these points by doing PvM activities in your regions. You can reset your tree later with Pact Resets, so don’t worry about making a mistake on Day 1.
The Invincible Magic Build
This build is perfect for beginners or anyone learning new bosses. It focuses on rune regeneration and massive survivability.
- Infinite Sustain: The build regenerates your runes and restores your prayer automatically.
- High Defense: You get a permanent +35 defense boost and tons of overheal to stay at full health.
- Perfect Accuracy: It provides 130% accuracy across all combat styles.
- Magic Power: You get a major boost to both magic strength and accuracy.
The Early Melee Rush Build
Use this build if you want to kill the first Varlamore boss, Amoxliatl, as fast as possible. Most early targets in Varlamore are weak to melee but tanky against magic and range.
- Weapon Choice: Abyssal Dagger or a Dragon Dagger.
- Accuracy: Spend your first 7 to 10 points strictly on Accuracy Nodes to halve your kill times.
- Double Hits: Transition into using Glacial Totems. Dual-hitting weapons are broken because they double-dip on your damage bonuses.
- The Goal: Farm Amoxliatl for the Echo Orb and the Infernal Tech Paddle.

Exploiting Minigames & Infinite Shops
Shops in Leagues 6 have infinite stock. You do not have to compete with other players for basic resources. This allows you to power-level skills on day one.
- Infinite Runes: The Varlamore rune shop stocks infinite nature, death, and chaos runes. If you have the Transmutation relic, you can buy death runes and immediately convert them into blood or wrath runes.
- Fast Skilling: The Ranging Guild offers infinite arrow shafts for fletching. You can also buy sapphires and emeralds at the Aldarin gem store for fast crafting XP.
- Healing: Buy raw sharks or cooked Karambwans in Karamja for an easy food supply.

If you’re always struggling with money, read the OSRS Leagues 6 Money Making guide to make money fast in the game.
Minigames become extremely efficient once you reach the Tier 4 relic unlock. You earn eight times more minigame points for every activity. This includes Tempeross, Wintertodt, and Guardians of the Rift. You will also receive eight reward tickets per run at the Brimhaven Agility Arena.
Additionally, minigame teleports have no cooldown in this mode. You can jump across your unlocked regions instantly to start a new task.
Quick OSRS Leagues 6 Tips & Tricks
League 6 has a few hidden mechanics and weird bugs you should know about. These tips will save you time and give you a head start that others lack.
Motherlode Mine Bug: Only deposit 14 pay-dirt at a time to bypass the glitch that deletes anything past your third nugget.
Fast Farming: Crops run on automatically buffed 60-second cycles, meaning Snapdragons fully grow in just 16 minutes.
Impling Spawns: Everyone gets access to Puro-Puro with boosted spawn rates and a 1/15 clue drop chance if using the Conniving Clue relic.
Lamp Strategy: Hoard all your Achievement Diary lamps until you unlock the 16x XP multiplier to completely skip massive skill grinds.
Efficient farming is crucial in OSRS. Read my OSRS Leagues 6 Farming Guide to learn all about it.
That’s everything you need to start playing OSRS Leagues 6. Did I miss something I should mention? Let me know in the comments below.
FAQ
Is Motherlode Mine broken?
Yes. There is a hard cap of three nuggets for every deposit. If you put in too much pay dirt, the game just deletes the extras. Make two separate deposits of 14 instead of one big one to get the most nuggets per hour.
How fast do crops grow?
Farming cycles trigger every 60 seconds instead of the usual five minutes. This means plants like Snapdragons fully grow in just 16 minutes. You get this speed boost automatically without any relics.
Should I use my XP lamps right away?
No. Save your Achievement Diary lamps until you reach the 16x experience multiplier. A single lamp can provide millions of experience and skip entire skill grinds.
Can I play my main and League account at the same time?
No. You use the same login for both, so you can only play one at a time.
Do I keep my pets?
Yes. Any pets you earn will carry over to future leagues.
What happens to my points when the league ends?
Your points convert into currency. You can use this to buy trophies or tradable cosmetics from past leagues.
