Cyberpunk 2077 Happy Together Walkthrough

If you go downstairs from V’s apartment, you will see two police officers knocking on someone’s door. They try to get their former NCPD partner to respond. When they eventually give up and step aside, you can approach them to start the Happy Together side job. Talking to them will trigger the conversation that begins the quest.

The cops will ask you to check on Barry. Head to apartment 0613 and knock on the door, but he won’t respond at first. This updates the objective to return later. Skip at least three in-game hours from the menu, then knock again. This time Barry will answer and the side job will continue.

While Talking with Barry, choose the following dialogue choices to prevent the bad outcome:

  • I just wanna talk. (If your body attribute level is 4 or above, you can choose “People like us have to get used to loss” option)
  • Your friends asked me to drop by.
  • [Sit] I lost someone too.

After choosing the correct responses, make sure to select all optional blue dialogue options. These lines don’t advance the conversation, but they’re essential. If you skip them, the bad ending of the quest will be enabled and subsequently, the mission will be failed.

Important: Before Talking to Cops, Find Andrew’s Grave!

Choosing the optional dialogue with Barry unlocks a new optional objective. It is crucial for you to complete it. If you ignore this step and report back to the cops right away, the mission will fail. Open your map, zoom out fully and head to Westbrook – North Oak.

Once you arrive at Andrew’s niche, search the walls inside the yellow minimap zone. Check the glowing blue markers until you find one with a message beneath it. If you are struggling to locate it, look near the bottom-left corner of the highlighted area.

After reading Barry’s message at the niche, you will discover that Andrew was a tortoise. Return to Barry’s apartment, where the cops are waiting. You can also fast travel directly to Megabuilding H10: Atrium. Since using fast travel is much faster than driving through the nice city, I suggest you to fast travel to the building.
