Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Best Weapons

The Phantom Liberty expansion did not just give Cyberpunk 2077 a fresh coat of neon paint. It completely overhauled the combat meta. Between the dangerous new Iconic weapons hidden in the depths of the EBM Petrochem Stadium and the high-tier drops from Barghest supply crates, choosing the right tool for the job has never been more vital.

In this guide, we break down the best weapons in Phantom Liberty to help you turn V into the everlasting urban legend of the NUSA.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Best Weapons: All Ranked

For our Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty best weapons guide, we have organized the gear by how it is obtained. We start with items purchased from the Black Market Vendor, as these were introduced with Update 2.0. Next come weapons earned through main story missions, followed by those found in side jobs, gigs, or general exploration in Cyberpunk 2077.

Order

Once you begin the expansion campaign in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, you will travel into Dogtown and eventually reach the EBM Petrochem Stadium. Inside the area, you will find multiple vendor stalls, including one operated by the Black Market Vendor.

This vendor sells a range of iconic weapons from the base game of Cyberpunk 2077, including items you may have missed earlier. You can also refresh their stock by skipping time forward by 24 hours in-game, which may cause the inventory to rotate..

Rasetsu

Rasetsu is obtained during “You Know My Name” in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. During the mission, you operate a sniper turret to eliminate enemies and hazards while Reed advances. After this sequence, the weapon is awarded.

Fang

In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Fang is obtained during the mission “Firestarter.” It drops from Colonel Hansen, who uses it as a throwable weapon throughout the fight. Once his health is fully depleted, you can finish him off, and the knife will be added to your inventory.

As a side note, Fang is distinct from the similarly named Blue Fang iconic weapon.

Crowbar

In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, the Crowbar is obtained during the mission “Somewhat Damaged,” which only becomes available if you side with Reed and capture Songbird in Firestarter.

After eliminating the MaxTac forces, you will pursue Songbird as she crashes through a wall. Continue following the path deeper into the ruins until you open a gate leading into a room filled with turbines and generators. From there, check the back-right corner of the upper walkway to find the weapon.

Gris-Gris

Obtained during the mission “The Damned” in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Gris-Gris is found after entering a facility with a door marked by graffiti of a skull-faced figure. Inside, you will need to open a briefcase to claim the weapon.

Divided We Stand

The Divided We Stand is a powerful smart assault rifle in Cyberpunk 2077. As a smart weapon, it fires homing bullets which is ideal for players who prefer less precision aiming.

What really sets it apart is its unique effect. Each bullet has a chance to create a poison cloud on impact, dealing additional damage over time. This makes it one of the most effective assault rifles in the game, especially for crowd control and sustained fights.

You can obtain this weapon during the “Stadium Love” mission:

  • Eliminate the 6th Street gang members and loot it
  • Or win the shooting contest by achieving the highest score

Ironically, you will need strong accuracy to win a weapon that practically aims for you.

Hawk

The Hawk is an iconic assault rifle introduced in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty and you can pick it up once you are free to explore your Dogtown hideout.

Stat-wise, it offers +175% headshot damage and +25% armor penetration. It is highly effective for precision-focused combat. Its standout feature, however, is its ability to weaken and mark enemies on headshot.

Another advantage is its flexibility: unlike many iconic weapons, the Hawk includes open scope and muzzle slots.

O’Five

If stealth is not your style but you still want to take enemies out from long range, the O’Five sniper rifle in Cyberpunk 2077 is a perfect fit.

You can obtain it during the “Beat on the Brat: Arroyo” side quest. Defeat Buck in the fight, then raise the wager and taunt him. Beat him again and he will drop the weapon.

The O’Five is a heavy weapon. In other words, you cannot sprint, dodge or dash while using it. In return, it delivers massive power:

  • High armor penetration and critical damage bonuses
  • Around a 40% chance to inflict Burning
  • Explosive rounds that deal extra area damage
  • Bonus effects where more burning enemies increase reload speed and crit chance

It is a slow but devastating sniper, built for players who want raw firepower over mobility.

Her Majesty

Her Majesty makes for the perfect sidearm in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. You receive it from Alex about halfway through the main story.

This silenced pistol is built for stealth. It offers +150% headshot damage, +10% crit damage and +5% crit chance. Its real strength, however, comes when paired with Optical Camo. While active, the weapon gains perfect accuracy and guaranteed critical headshots.

For stealth-focused builds, it is easily one of the most effective pistols in the game.

Her Majesty

Overwatch

Sniper rifles are incredibly powerful in Cyberpunk 2077. Overwatch stands out as one of the best. You can obtain it by completing the “Riders on the Storm” side job, after which Panam Palmer rewards you with the weapon.

As a bolt-action sniper, Overwatch has a slower fire rate, but it makes up for it with +300% headshot damage. It allows you to one-shot most standard enemies and take down tougher targets in just a few hits. It also offers +50% armor penetration.

What truly sets Overwatch apart is its built-in silencer. It lets you eliminate enemies from a distance without alerting others.
