Best Torchlight Infinite Builds for Season 13 (Afterlight)

Season 13 (Afterlight) reworked Torchlight Infinite’s Terra skills and added new elixirs and support gems. But that’s not all of it. It also introduced divinity charges and much more. The last season’s Torchlight Infinite builds will not work anymore. I researched every build among the fans and on the internet and chose the best builds based on how many players agreed that this indeed is THE best. Keep reading to find out which one you agree with.

1. Selena 2 Build (Dance of the Deep)

Selena 2 is still the build most people are talking about this season. Her class ability, Dance of the Deep, makes her Terra skills follow her around instead of sitting on the ground, and her base Terra area jumped from 3 meters to 6 (10 feet to 20) this patch. She also gets her own independent hero talent tree, separate from the one everyone else shares.
Two leveling paths work: start on Frost Terra and transition into Starfall once geared, or level on Nether Grasp (a damage-over-time skill) and switch to stacking strength around Fallen Star later. Both routes lean on a Crimson Tide effect that pulls enemies together and slows them while you keep moving.

2. Sage Build (Sent Weaver)

Sage was really nerfed this season, but she’s not gone. One creator’s take is that she was overtuned before, and the changes mostly brought her to a normal power level rather than making her weak.

The bigger story is the season’s new potions, which grant affliction effect or elemental penetration, and reportedly, they scale hard with her kit. Damage-over-time builds, in general, are expected to be more common this season, and Sage is among the heroes who benefit from this.

3. Gamma 2 Build (Frostbitten Heart)

Gamma 2 stacks Frost Energy through Blizzard, which triggers Cold Pulse to clear areas and freeze enemies. This means most things are stunned before reaching her. Choose this if you want a safe, low-maintenance pick.

Her freeze threshold got nerfed from 500 to 350 this patch, but that hasn’t hurt her reputation as an easy clearer. If you’re starting fresh, direct-damage Blizzard is the safer bet for now, but Tangle isn’t dead, either.

4. Rosa 2 Build (Unsolid Blade)

Rosa 2 was less nerfed than it sounds. Developers removed a version of her build that was dealing damage much more than normal balance, but her standard build is still intact. Her endgame mana-stacking is still harder to reach, and it’ll take longer to reach her strongest form. But fervor stacking is another great alternative if that feels too slow for you.
One creator noted friends running Rosa 2 have consistently cleared Supreme Showdown 20 within the first five or six days of a season, and the general sentiment among build creators is that she still hasn’t been nerfed enough to fall out of top-tier conversation.

5. Erika 1 Build (Wind Stalker)

Erika 1 keeps dodging nerfs season after season, and this time she actually got buffed! Her signature melee skill, Thunder Slash, was increased by 30% in damage, which pushes her already strong late game into new territory.

Her whole identity is speed. Wind Stalker, her core passive, stacks Multistrike automatically while she moves, and the higher the stacks, the harder the damage multiplier hits. Most builds lose their stacks the second they move, but Erika keeps hers active at full speed, so you’re never trading damage for mobility.

She leans hard on Dexterity and attack speed gear, and with enough investment in that direction, her damage scales into the hundreds of billions in T8 Profound content and beyond. What you lose in return is durability. She’s fast and hits hard, but she’s squishy. So this build rewards players who can dodge rather than being tanks against hits.

Other Notable Torchlight Infinite Builds For Different Playstyles

A few more picks didn’t make the top five, but they cover playstyles the list above doesn’t. Check them out if you still haven’t found something that feels right.

Modo 2: is the minion pick for players who want their build to run itself. Summon your minions, and they run at enemies and explode. His trait gives nearly automatic results from day one, which is why he’s especially popular with people playing on the go or between other tasks.

Iris 2: also plays minions, but differently. You take direct control of one minion and use its abilities instead of just summoning and forgetting. Her movement speed got nerfed this season, so she’s less zippy than before, but the new minion-related additions should still make her a strong pick.

Yuga 2: runs mind control, where enemies get marked and take damage over time automatically. It’s a channeling skill, so it self-activates almost immediately and stays on once you start casting it.

Karina 2: is built around projectiles that return, bounce, and chain across the map. He took a minor nerf this season but should still hold up fine.

Selena 2. Her Terra field follows you automatically from the early levels, so you get full clear speed without needing to learn complex mechanics first.

Which build has the highest endgame ceiling?

Rosa 2. Her mana-stacking payoff takes longer to reach after this season’s changes, but reports of clearing Supreme Showdown 20 within days of launch suggest her ceiling is still among the highest in the game.
