There are three Tokachi Range Bamboo Strikes in Ghost of Yotei, including the infamous Misty Valley. I’ll show you the location of every single one of them as well as how to complete them. Huranui’s Rest Inn Bamboo Strike
Huranui’s Rest Inn Bamboo Strike is located west of Moiwa Grotto, literally in Huranui’s Rest Inn, hence the name! The inn is located in the central part of the Tokachi Range region.
A funny thing about this Bamboo Strike is that you can’t do this unless you drink two jars of sake, which makes you quite drunk. The two jars to the right of the Bamboo Strike exist for a reason! Down those jars and interact with the Bamboo Strike.
1st button Combo: Triangle – X – Square
At the end of the first part of this Bamboo Strike, you can double tap the L1 button to cut the flying piece in half.
2nd button Combo: Triangle – X – Square – Circle – L1
3rd button Combo: Triangle – X – Square – Circle – L1 – L1 – Circle
Misty Valley Bamboo Strike
The Misty Valley Bamboo Strike in particular is unlike the rest because you must solve a puzzle during The Spider Lily General mythic tale. Otherwise, even if you find the Bamboo Strike, you can’t interact with it. It’s located in the southeastern part of Tokachi Range, south of Shizunai Woods.
During the mythic tale, you get to the Abandoned Tominaga Estate. Enter and keep going until you get to a door with four locks.
From there, as shown in the picture, take a left and continue along the way until you reach a maze in which the Misty Valley Bamboo Strike is located.
Pro-tip: Turn your screen brightness all the way to 100% so that you have better vision during this segment.
To solve this Misty Valley Bamboo Strike puzzle quickly, just look on the ground for the red lilies. Follow the path three times. Only then will you be able to see that you can interact with the bamboo strike.
Now you can complete the strike. However, note that it’s not mandatory to complete.

2nd button Combo: L1 – X – L1 – L1 – Square
3rd button Combo: L1 – X – L1 – L1 – Square – Square – Triangle
Niikappu’s Fork Bamboo Strike
Niikappu’s Fork Bamboo Strike is located in the Twin Ponds of Hidaka and south of the Niikappu River.
Once you get there, two bears will attack you. Go there prepared.
1st button Combo: Circle – Triangle – Circle
2nd button Combo: Circle – Triangle – Circle – L1 – L1
3rd button Combo: Circle – Triangle – Circle – L1 – L1 – Triangle – Circle
