The Blood Moon Rises quest has been added to the game and Seeker Arrows in OSRS are a kind of upgrade you can apply to your arrows. They add more ranged accuracy and increase the minimum hit.
Go for Redwood logs. They give much more shafts compared to finished arrows using the same amount of sap (105 vs 15). I’ll explain what the exact requirements are and how you can do the process.

Dragon Seeker Arrow Requirements
I’ll explain the way to upgrade your arrows to seeker ones. But first you should know what is required to do so.
First of all, you should have finished The Blood Moon Rises to access the Vampyrium region. You also need 75 Fletching for Magic logs (yields 90 shafts per bucket) and 90 Fletching for Redwood logs (yields 105 shafts per bucket) to turn them into seeker arrows. I prefer Redwood logs because of their efficiency.
Maximize your arrows per hour by creating new arrow shafts from logs, rather than wasting sap by converting finished arrows. Don’t waste sap because its gathering process is really slow.
You also need feathers to make the arrows.
Best Method to Make Seeker Arrows
First of all, you should gather Bloodwood Sap. Bloodwood Sap comes from Bloodwood Trees in Vampyrium.
The active trees reward precise clicking and provide faster progress. For the active rhythm, double-click your character within one game tick, then click the tree on the following tick. Repeat the sequence while monitoring the progress bar.
Oh, don’t forget that the double click on your character must happen within a single tick to maintain the rhythm. If you separate it across two ticks, it severely breaks the method.
A low-intensity Bloodwood Tree is also available. It provides longer periods of uninterrupted chopping but gives less Woodcutting XP and Bloodwood Sap than the active method.
Note: As I know, you only receive one bucket of bloodwood sap per fully depleted tree cycle.
Create Seeker Arrow Shafts
Use Bloodwood Sap on a Redwood log whenever you have the required Fletching level. One treated Redwood log can be cut into 105 Seeking Arrow Shafts.
The complete process is:
- Use one bucket of Bloodwood Sap on a Redwood log.
- Fletch the treated log into 105 Seeking Arrow Shafts.
- Add feathers to create 105 Seeking Headless Arrows.
- Attach compatible arrowtips to finish the arrows.
You can also use the Seeking Headless Arrows on existing compatible arrows. This converts the existing arrows into their Seeker versions without forcing you to recreate the arrowtips.
Using Bloodwood Sap directly on completed arrows, ordinary headless arrows, or standard arrow shafts converts only 15 items per bucket. It is simpler, but far less sap-efficient than the Redwood-log method.
Finish the Arrows
Now it’s time to use feathers on the Seeker Arrow Shafts. This creates Seeker Headless Arrows. Congratulations, your Dragon seeker is ready and willing to be used.
Here is another tip that might be helpful: You can use sap on headless arrows too (shafts and feathers, without tips), but they still only convert 15 per bucket, just like finished arrows. And also note that you CAN’T convert poison arrows to seeker arrows.
