Let’s talk about the little dream-creature who throws pillows and somehow makes “I’m gonna sleep” sound like a threat. Rem is adorable. Rem is chaotic. And Rem’s voice is… still officially uncredited.
My best guess is Misty Lee and I’ll explain why, follow along.

The Clear Frontrunner: Misty Lee
If you’ve heard Rem speak and immediately thought “wait, I’ve heard this exact voice before,” (like when you hear Rat King voice) there’s a very good chance you were thinking of Misty Lee.
She’s the strongest candidate by a comfortable margin, and the evidence is pretty convincing:
She voices Bunny, the wardrobe shopkeeper in LEGO Party. Several players (myself included) nearly fell out of their chairs when Bunny started talking in what sounds exactly like Rem’s high-pitched, throaty, slightly raspy cutesy voice.
Even better proof comes from her role as Squirrel Girl in Ultimate Spider-Man. The sleepy scene is almost comically similar to Rem’s nap-related lines. Same energy. Same delivery. Same “I just woke up but I’m already tired again” vibe.
She has a long track record of this exact vocal flavor, playful, childlike, a little mischievous and capable of sounding both soft and slightly unhinged.
In short: if Valve eventually confirms Misty Lee, a lot of people are going to nod and say yeah, that tracks.
The Respectable Runner-Up: Christine Auten
Not everyone is fully sold on Misty Lee (voice matching is an art, not a science). Some players have pointed to Christine Auten as another solid possibility.
Auten has a higher, slightly sharper register that can dip into that same cute-but-a-little-creepy territory. She’s done plenty of roles that require a distinctive, memorable female voice and a handful of people hear a resemblance in some of Rem’s more energetic lines.
It’s not as widely agreed upon as the Misty Lee theory, but it’s a legitimate alternate take.
The Reality Check
As I said, none of this is official. Rem is still listed as “n/a” or uncredited on every major voice actor list. Valve has been very quiet about the full cast and the game is still early enough that things could change (even some voice actors). So, while Misty Lee currently has the best evidence, we won’t know for sure until someone (Valve, the actor, or a very leaked credits screen) confirms it.
What do you think? Team Misty, Team Christine, or still waiting for the official reveal?
