Deadman Danny Voice Actor in Deadlock: The Strongest Candidates

Yet Valve still refuses to name the actor behind Deadman Danny. But I have my guesses. I think the strongest candidate is Jason Keller and I explain why. I also talk about the other possible candidates like Kiff VandenHeuvel or Stephen Gevedon.
Who’s the Voice Actor:
Jason Keller: Most Possible Voice Actor

Jason Keller’s own professional voice-over resume lists something important: He voices the Shopkeeper for Deadlock, with Valve listed as the client. And guess what? The Shopkeeper’s voice is highly close to Deadman Danny. Just go into the game and listen to them side by side!
Of course, this could simply be a similarity between two voices. Also note that the game is still in early access and can change in many aspects, including the voice-actor credits.
Kiff VandenHeuvel: The Strong Vocal Match

VandenHeuvel is another community favorite by pure ear. His work as Zachary Hale Comstock and Walter (Telltale’s Walking Dead) shows the exact blend of theatrical weight and dry sarcasm that both the Urn’s complaining and Danny’s sales-pitch energy require. He remains a highly plausible alternative if the Shopkeeper connection turns out to be a misidentification.
Stephen Gevedon: The Quiet Contender

Gevedon continues to appear in careful side-by-side listening discussions. He occupies a similar vocal space to VandenHeuvel and has the range for both the Urn’s weary muttering and Danny’s high-energy product demos. He is the classic “could still be him” candidate that serious voice hunters refuse to eliminate.
Kevan Brighting: The Tone Specialist

The Stanley Parable narrator remains the perennial ear-match for the Urn’s flat, judgmental delivery. If the same actor is stretching into Danny’s more bombastic register, Brighting would be pulling off an impressive range expansion. He is still in the conversation, but currently sits behind the stronger documentary and identification evidence pointing at Keller.
Note: Even Brighting, though currently the least probable candidate, has a voice close to Deadman Danny’s. We’re talking about voice actors here, and most of them are masters at changing their voices. So guessing is hard.
