Who Voices Vyper in Deadlock? Stephanie Kerbis & Her Funniest Lines

Vyper is voiced by Stephanie Kerbis in Deadlock and she brings some of the game’s funniest moments to life. It doesn’t matter if you see Vyper obsess over Lash or get way too friendly with the other heroes. It’s hard not to laugh and wonder who’s doing the voice. The good news is it’s no secret.

You’ve probably heard her in another game already. I’ll show you where you might’ve heard her voice before. I’ve also picked out some of Vyper’s funniest lines and linked the clips so you can hear Kerbis’s hilarious delivery for yourself.

How Was Stephanie Kerbis Confirmed as Vyper’s Voice Actor?

Stephanie Kerbis confirmed she’s the voice of Vyper in Deadlock in a TikTok she posted back in September 2025. You can find more of her stuff on her TikTok if you want to check it out.

IMDb also credits her as Vyper in Deadlock. So, unlike some of the other voice-actor mysteries in the game, you don’t have to sit around and compare clips to figure it out. This one’s settled.

I think one of the reasons why she’s so beloved within the community is Stephanie Kerbis’ performance. Her delivery and the way she brings the character’s lines to life are awe-inspiring.

Best Vyper Voice Lines in Deadlock (With Audio)

If you want to hear Stephanie Kerbis’s work for yourself, the Deadlock Voice Line Viewer has a bunch of Vyper’s recordings and transcripts, which include her conversations with other heroes.

One of the funniest bits is how hard she goes for Lash. When he’s above her, she can just straight-up say:

“Hey, my future husband’s up there!“

Then there’s her back-and-forth with Abrams. He asks how she got out of jail and Vyper just fires back by questioning why anyone would ever expect her to be released in the first place. Abrams doesn’t sound thrilled with that answer, though.

“Who lets anyone out of jail? We’re gonna have a blast, Abe. Don’t sweat it.”

Her hero-selection lines are just as unhinged. I particularly like how she roasts Infernus for turning into a cocktail-slinging softie, then immediately panics that he might overhear it.

“Infernus used to be hard, now he’s just a bitch slinging Mary Pickfords to other bitches… oh god, don’t tell him I said that.”

In another one, she jokes that she never gets the feeling something bad is about to happen, which apparently explains why she keeps ending up in jail.

“You ever get that feeling that something bad is going to happen? Yeah, so I don’t, that’s why I end up in jail so much.”

Her criminal history pops up again when she upgrades her dagger ability. She proudly says, “And my PO thinks I don’t have marketable skills…”

Her deadpan delivery makes it even funnier, to say the least. PO is short for parole officer, by the way.

Sometimes the whole joke is just in her delivery. When she spots an enemy with Metal Skin, she yells, “They got metal skin!” The way she shouts it makes even a basic warning hilarious.

And now she, as Vyper, compares the amount of poison she’s about to unleash to her mom’s reaction after she found out about the life insurance policy. That family history is a lot to unpack, to be honest. “I’m gonna be slinging more poison than my mom after she found out about the life insurance policy.”

It’s that mix of stupid decisions and perfectly timed delivery that makes Vyper so fun to listen to. Kerbis can turn even a basic gameplay warning into something that sticks with you.

Stephanie Kerbis Voice Acting Roles: Other Games and Characters

Stephanie Kerbis has a solid list of video game credits under her belt. If her voice sounds familiar, there’s a good chance you know her as ALLMIND from Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, which came out in 2023. She also voiced Berengaria in Unicorn Overlord (2024) and Sloane Beaumont in Grounded 2 (2025).

Vyper definitely isn’t her first video game role. Those earlier roles are a good place to start if her voice is ringing a bell.

Stephanie Kerbis brings Vyper’s chaotic personality to life. Her hilarious interactions with other heroes make her one of Deadlock’s most entertaining characters. Now that you know who’s behind Vyper’s voice, you might also want to check out our Deadlock Violet voice actor article to see what we know about another fan-favorite character’s casting.

Jason Jenkins

Jason’s journey of countless memorable video game stories began when he was only 8 years old. Most of the time, he would play Mortal Kombat 4 on his PC after school. When night fell, it was time for the original Resident Evil 3 to scare the living daylights out of him. But he wouldn’t trade those good old days for anything. Jason is a minimalist at heart and that translates into his guide writing as well. He likes to break down gameplay mechanics into simpler parts so that the audience can find what they’re looking for in no time.
