RDR2 Susan Herbs Request: Items, Location & Reward

In Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s a camp item request where Susan Grimshaw asks you to find some herbs for seasoning, which include Wild Mint, Creeping Thyme, or Oregano. 2x of any of them would be enough. In return, she leaves you a Potent Miracle Tonic by your tent. Let’s see how to fulfill her herbs request.

How to Trigger Susan Grimshaw’s Request in RDR2

To trigger Susan Grimshaw’s camp item request, you just need to be hanging around in the camp where the gang’s doing their daily stuff. It shouldn’t be late at night or very early in the morning, as Susan might not be available. Anyhow, at some point, Susan approaches Arthur and says that if he runs into any herbs for seasoning during his travels, it would be nice to bring her some.

She doesn’t want Mr. Pearson to know anything about that since he’s the gang’s cook and all. So, these herbs include Wild Mint, Creeping Thyme, or Oregano, 2x of which should satisfy her.

Susan Herbs Location in RDR2

To find herbs for seasoning and deliver them to Susan Grimshaw, it ain’t necessary to go far. Just a little bit south of your camp at Horseshoe Overlook, there’s a burned-down town called Limpany, where you can also easily score a gold bar. There, you can find plenty of Wild Mint plants. Grab a couple and head back to camp and find Susan.

How to Give Susan Herbs

When you do find Susan Grimshaw, just interact with her and select “Give Request.” Funnily enough, when you give herbs to Susan, she says she’ll try to slip these herbs in Mr. Pearson’s pot when he ain’t looking. Somebody doesn’t like Pearson’s cooking.

RDR2 Susan Request Reward

Susan Grimshaw isn’t ungrateful when you bring her herbs for seasoning. Give it some time, like a day or two, then check your tent in the camp where you sleep. You’ll see that she left you a Potent Miracle Tonic, which fully restores your Health, Stamina, and Dead Eye meters while also moderately fortifying all three.
