In Elden Ring, Leyndell, the Royal Capital holds two Golden Seeds. These are relatively late-game locations, so make sure you’ve progressed far enough into the story to access the capital. This page covers only these two seeds, for the complete list, see our full Golden Seed locations guide.
Lower Capital Church Golden Seed
Important Note: Collect this Golden Seed before burning the Erdtree. Once the Erdtree is burned, this item becomes permanently unavailable.
From the Lower Capital Church Site of Grace, head northeast into the lower sections of the capital. You’ll encounter a Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit in a sandy area. Defeat it to obtain the Golden Seed.
Practical tips: As I always said, the Tree Spirit is weak to fire damage and also to frost. Many players already have a frost weapon available by this point in the game, so either element works well.
West Capital Rampart Golden Seed
From the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace, head south toward the Leyndell Colosseum. You’ll find a Golden Seed next to a golden sapling, guarded by a Valiant Gargoyle and several Oracle Envoys.
The seed itself is relatively accessible after reaching the grace, but clear the surrounding enemies carefully (or grab it and run if you prefer).
