Elden Ring Ainsel River Golden Seed Locations

There are two Golden Seed locations in the Ainsel River region of Elden Ring (including Nokstella, Eternal City, and the connected Lake of Rot). Both are typically accessed by progressing Ranni the Witch’s questline far enough to reach Ainsel River Main via the teleporter in Renna’s Rise.
Nokstella Eternal City Golden Seed

This seed sits under a golden tree in the northern/western part of Nokstella. How to reach it? Progress through Ainsel River Main into Nokstella, Eternal City.
From the Nokstella, Eternal City Site of Grace, head up the stairs and through the buildings, climbing toward the higher/western sections of the city.

Work past Silver Tears (including the large rolling ones), Nox Swordstresses, and other enemies.

Reach the upper areas near the building that holds the Moon of Nokstella chest (guarded by two Nox Swordstresses). From nearby, look for a drop/jump down to an elevator or path leading to a lower ledge with the golden sapling.

The seed is at the base of the tree, near stairs or a lift that continues toward the Lake of Rot area.

Lake of Rot Golden Seed

This seed drops from an optional Ulcerated Tree Spirit (sometimes called Putrid Tree Spirit due to the rot environment) in the Grand Cloister.
To reach this one, continue past Nokstella to the lift leading down into the Lake of Rot (a large Scarlet Rot-filled area).

Cross the Lake of Rot carefully (use the raising platforms, Preserving Boluses, and high Scarlet Rot resistance or immunity where possible) to reach the ruins on the far side, the Grand Cloister.
Activate the Grand Cloister Site of Grace if available. Descend to the lower level near the base of the waterfall that feed into the area. The Tree Spirit emerges here. Defeat it for the Golden Seed. The fight is made harder by the constant Scarlet Rot buildup and nearby Kindred of Rot enemies. Clear space on a safer platform and bait the spirit if possible.
