How to Unlock Cyberpunk 2077 the Sun Ending

If you want to enable Cyberpunk 2077 the Sun Ending, you need to first complete Rogue’s side questline to form an alliance between her and Johnny Silverhand. You can finish these quests before reaching the Point of No Return. Below are all of Rogue’s required side quests.

Chippin’ In

Keep in mind that this quest unlocks automatically as you progress through the story. At the end of “Chippin’ In”, you’ll visit Johnny Silverhand’s grave. During this conversation, you need to be friendly and supportive toward Johnny. Building a good relationship with him is required to unlock the next quest.

For the best results (these same choices also unlock the Secret Ending), choose the following dialogue options in order:

  • “Yeah, I’ll call Rogue.”
  • “The Guy who Saved My Life”
  • “Nah, fu***d that up too.”
  • “What do you want from me?”
  • “OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.”
  • “You were a real d**k in the beginning.”
  • “When you said you let down your friends…”
  • “Smasher biz really got to her.”

These choices also unlock Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending.

Blistering Love

After completing the previous quest, call Rogue on the phone and ask her out on a date. Finishing this quest is required to continue her side questline.

During “Nocturne Op55N1” (Final Story Mission), Misty will take you to a balcony where you speak with Johnny Silverhand. Choose these dialogue options: “Think you and Rogue should go” and “Take Pseudoendotrizine.

This will unlock the following ending missions in order: “For Whom The Bell Tolls”, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” and “Changes.” You will play through these missions as Johnny.

Changes Mission

After defeating Adam Smasher, you will enter Cyberspace and speak with Alt and V. Choose the dialogue: “Goin’ with Alt, you live on.” Then cross the bridge and enter Cyberspace permanently (do not enter the well).

This choice makes Johnny stay in Cyberspace with Alt and triggers the Sun Ending, where V becomes a legend in Night City. The “Sun” ending is the only way to get the “Legend of the Afterlife” achievement.
