How to enable Shot by Both Sides Quest?
In order to enable this quest, you have to complete the The Demand main quest first.
Cyberpunk 2077 Shot by Both Sides Quest Walkthrough
Shot by Both Sides quest becomes available after finishing the Phantom Liberty quest “The Damned.” To start it, you need to reply to a message from Mr. Hands, who then assigns you a task involving a journalist named Bree Whitney. He asks you to go to her apartment in Night City and recover an access card.
Head to the marked location on your map and enter Bree’s apartment building. Take the elevator up to the fifth floor. You can get inside her apartment by either forcing the door open (Body 3) or using Technical Ability 3.
Once inside, go to the bedroom on the left. Look for a bamboo plant near the computer in the corner of the room. Scan it to reveal a hidden compartment and collect the access card.
After that, message Mr. Hands to confirm the retrieval. He will send new coordinates to an abandoned building in Dogtown.
Travel to the location, take the elevator down, and follow the clues on the floor that lead to hidden tunnels. Move through the tunnel, follow the train tracks and enter the damaged wall opening. Inside, you will meet Bree.
Give her the access card and follow her into the Militech facility. The area is filled with cameras, turrets, and traps, so you will need to disable or hack security systems as you progress.
In the main room, watch three video files. Afterward, a Militech agent named Dante appears, forcing a confrontation. Defeat him in combat.
After the fight, you can collect two iconic weapons from the area: “Ol’ Reliable” and “Riskit.” Speak with Bree, then exit the facility. Mr. Hands will contact you afterward to confirm the job is complete.

In this mission, you are forced to decide who to side with or whether to betray both. Each option changes your rewards and consequences.
