Jack Hall Gang Map

RDR2: The Jack Hall Gang Map 1 Location

I have to say that the Jack Hall Gang treasure is one of the easiest treasure maps Red Dead Redemption II has in store for us. You can start this treasure hunt as soon as you start Chapter 2. This guide covers the Jack Hall Gang Map 1 location. With that being said, let’s begin the hunt.

The Jack Hall Gang Map 1 Location

Right off the bat, you should know how to get the Jack Hall Gang Map 1 to start the treasure hunt. You can find a self-proclaimed explorer guy named Maximo. He’s standing on the edge of a cliff south of the Limpany and northwest of Flatneck Station.

Approach him to start the cutscene. You either buy the map from him for $10 or go the outlaw way and steal it from him. If you decide to buy from him, negotiate to lower the price to $5. When you have the first map, inspect it.

As shown in the picture, the first Jack Hall Map location is south of Valentine on a cliff named Caliban’s Seat. Start from the eastern side of it, just around the second letter A of Caliban’s Seat on the map.

Scale to the top. When you see an abandoned camp, that’s when you have to take the path to the right. Be careful though.

The road ahead is slippery and dangerous. Take your immediate left. There’s a tricky jump here, so be careful.

Pro tip: I highly recommend you to save before doing this part. That way if you die because of the jump, you can reload and try again.

Take a couple of steps back. Start running and then jump.

Now continue the narrow path until you reach the end of it. You can find the Jack Hall Gang Map 2 right in the crevice of the wall.

Can You Get the Jack Hall Gang Treasure Without a Map?

Unfortunately, no. You have to have all the maps in your satchel in order to be able to obtain the treasure. It’s more like in real life. If you don’t have a map that indicates something valuable is buried or hidden somewhere, how are you gonna be able to know that even if you stood right on top of it? That’s the general idea.

Jason Jenkins

Jason’s journey of countless memorable video game stories began when he was only 8 years old. Most of the time, he would play Mortal Kombat 4 on his PC after school. When night fell, it was time for the original Resident Evil 3 to scare the living daylights out of him. But he wouldn’t trade those good old days for anything. Jason is a minimalist at heart and that translates into his guide writing as well. He likes to break down gameplay mechanics into simpler parts so that the audience can find what they’re looking for in no time.
