How Relics Work in Leagues 6
Account progression looks totally different in Leagues 6. Jagex split your power into two systems: a customizable Demonic Pact tree and permanent Relics.
Earning Points & Unlocking Tiers
You earn League Points when you complete tasks. Hit a point milestone, and you unlock a new Relic Tier. There are 8 tiers in total.
The first few tiers speed up your skilling and travel. The later tiers prepare you for a raid boss. You start the league with a 5x XP multiplier. This multiplier jumps higher as you unlock more tiers.
The Demonic Pact Skill Tree
This is the biggest change. Jagex removed the old combat masteries. Instead, you get a massive skill tree with over 130 nodes (Pacts).
You earn Pact Points when you finish specific combat tasks and kill bosses. You can use up to 40 points out of the 130. You spend these points to unlock elemental paths and combat styles. For example, the Water path gives you insane lifesteal. And the Air path scales your max hit with your Prayer bonus.
Best Early Game Relics (Tiers 1 to 3)
Your first three relic choices dictate your early game speed. These tiers focus on resource gathering, skilling and travel.
Tier 1: Endless Harvest vs. Barbarian Gathering
Tier 1 is all about early resource gathering. The main debate is between Endless Harvest and Barbarian Gathering. Endless Harvest is the ultimate low-effort choice. It doubles your resources and secures them. Plus, the resource nodes hardly deplete.
On the other hand, Barbarian Gathering gives you faster tool speeds and passive Agility and Strength XP. But honestly, I would say go with Endless Harvest. The AFK potential is just unmatched.

Tier 2: Woodsman
Tier 2 is where you lock in Woodsman. Trust me, this is the clear winner for skilling. Woodsman increases your success chance of Hunter traps and teleports the loot automatically. This way, your inventory does not fill up quickly.
Woodsman also gives you random seeds when you pick up traps and lets you process entire inventories instantly. It completely breaks the early game skilling grind.

Tier 3: Why Evil Eye is Mandatory
Tier 3 is your travel tier. You need Evil Eye. Jagex removed Last Recall from this league. That means getting back to bosses is painful. The solution is Evil Eye. This relic teleports you directly to any boss in your unlocked regions. Evil Eye is basically mandatory for late-game PvM.

Best Mid Game Relics (Tiers 4 to 5)
Tiers 4 and 5 can completely break the game’s economy and resource grinds. This is your stepping stone to late-game progression.
Tier 4: The Transmutation Meta
Most players agree that Transmutation is the most broken relic this League. This relic gives you a ledger to upgrade or downgrade items. You can turn standard bones into Superior Dragon bones to skip the Prayer grind. You can also swap runes or fish back and forth forever. This gives you passive Magic experience without ever leaving a bank.

Tier 5: Infinite Money with Larcenist
Larcenist gives you a 100% Thieving success rate. The stalls never deplete, and you get ten times the normal loot. You can sit at the Wealthy Citizen stalls in Varlamore and fill your inventory to the brim. It generates infinite gold, Gilded Jewelry, and Blessed Bones with zero effort.

Best Late Game Relics (Tiers 6 to 8)
You reach your max power in Tiers 6 through 8. These relics dictate how you handle late-game raids and boss fights.
Tier 6: Grimoire vs. Culling Spree
Culling Spree is the ultimate Slayer choice. You pick your own tasks and get massive damage buffs. You get those buffs without a Slayer helmet.
Grimoire is the other top pick. It instantly unlocks every spellbook and prayer. Grab this if you skipped Zeah or the Desert but still want Rigour and Ancients.

Tier 7: Flow State
Tier 7 is pure efficiency. Flow State is the undisputed winner here. This relic pushes almost every non-combat action to two ticks. As the name suggests, you will have high speeds while you step away from the keyboard. Pair it with Transmutation for up to 4 million Magic XP an hour.

Tier 8: Executioner’s Axe vs. Minion
It’s time for your last relics to melt bosses with. Executioner’s Axe is the community favorite. It instantly kills any boss under 20% health from six tiles away. You get to skip the worst enrage phases at bosses like Nex entirely. Unless you like the struggle, in which case I recommend Minion.
Minion is your lazy alternative. This relic summons a permanent follower. This pet deals a constant 6.39 DPS. Pick Minion if you want raw, consistent damage with zero manual input.

Pro-tip: Need to switch your build? You can reset your entire tree up to three times. You earn these resets when you defeat the new Echo Bosses. Read my OSRS Leagues 6 Builds Guide to learn the best Demonic Pacts builds for every playstyle.

FAQ
Can you reset your Demonic Pacts?
Yes, you get exactly three resets. You earn them by taking down the new Echo Bosses.

You don’t get a choice here. Every single player starts in Varlamore. You unlock Karamja automatically after completing enough tasks. Then you get to pick your three custom regions.
Is Last Recall in League 6?
No. Jagex completely removed Last Recall this time around. You must take the Evil Eye relic at Tier 3 if you want fast boss travel.
