There are 4 Golden Seeds in the main Mountaintops of the Giants (not counting the Consecrated Snowfield, which has its own two).
Here’s exactly where they are and how to grab them without wasting time.
Forbidden Lands Path Golden Seed
Right after you take the regular Grand Lift of Rold up into the Mountaintops, you’ll be in the Forbidden Lands.
Just follow the only path forward. You’ll pass the Black Blade Kindred (you can run past him if you want). Shortly after that, on the right side of the road, you’ll see a golden sapling glowing.
Seed is sitting right at the base. Super hard to miss.
Tip: Grab this one the first time you come through. It’s literally on the main road.
Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Golden Seed
From the Freezing Lake Site of Grace (or Ancient Snow Valley Ruins), head toward the frozen river area.
There’s a big Guardian Golem walking around here. The golden tree is down in the ravine, near the edge by the river.
Tip: You can see the glow pretty clearly once you’re near the river. Just be ready for the golem, either fight it or ride past fast on Torrent.
Near Foot of the Forge Golden Seed
From the Foot of the Forge Site of Grace, head northeast toward the big frozen giant bodies and the path that leads up toward the Forge of the Giants.
You’ll pass the area where trolls are throwing pots. Keep going and you’ll find the golden sapling sitting among the giant corpses on a bit of higher ground.
Tip: It’s past the first big chain bridge area. Look for the glowing tree near the center of the frozen giants.
Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs Golden Seed
This is the only one that requires a fight.
The dungeon entrance is south of the main path, near Zamor Ruins (before the big bridge). Look for the door slightly off to the side (easy to miss the first time).
Go through the catacombs (it’s a bit of a maze with pots and traps), pull the lever and fight the Ulcerated Tree Spirit at the end. It drops the Golden Seed.
Tip: These Tree Spirits are weak to fire. If you hate the fight, you can still run past most of the dungeon and just deal with the boss. Bring a summon if you want an easier time.
