Stardust Genesis is the rarest and most expensive skin in Mistfall Hunter. You should spend more than 1000 dollars to unlock it but it’s just a pure cosmetic. It gives zero combat stats.
The only unique feature is that enemies can see it. Every other outfit is visible only to you and your teammates. And of course, it shows that you are a rich person (not recommended if you’re a humble millionaire!).
Note: As far as I know, there’s no way to get this skin for free. Also, you can’t trade it in or out of the game.

How Stardust Genesis Unlocks
Stardust Genesis unlocks when you fully upgrade the Watchtower (the structure near Cazarro’s shop in camp) to its maximum level.
Note: Community posts sometimes call it the “Stardust Altar,” but the in-game name and every major guide list it as Watchtower.
Step-by-Step Process
Reach player level 5, gather 10,000 Gyldenblod, finish the “Camp Revitalization” task by talking to Dew. This opens camp upgrades. Go to the Watchtower in camp.
Gather Star Silver Spindles:
- Buy Moonlight Nectar from the Mall (200 Soul Coins each) or collect the very limited free amounts from the free Battle Pass track and one-time Journey / Slumbering Contracts milestones (only a handful total, no practical repeatable free farm).
- Talk to Ashe at the Goddess Statue and refine Moonlight Nectar into Star Silver. You refine Star Silver Ore (small/medium/large). A large ore costs 10 Nectar and yields between 150 and 3000 Star Silver.
- Buy Star Silver Spindles from the Curio Shop for 7200 Star Silver each.
Spend the Spindles to level the Watchtower. Reported costs per upgrade start low (1 spindle, then 3, then 6) and climb. Even the first three upgrades already cost 10 spindles combined and real playthroughs show the total climbing well beyond that (into the 6–10+ range).
When the Watchtower reaches its highest level, Stardust Genesis appears in your Wardrobe. Intermediate upgrades can also grant rewards such as poses (one of which currently has broken animated particles).
Real Cost and Whether It Is Worth It
As you can probably guess, I don’t have the skin myself. All the information I provide about this skin comes from the community and what other players say about Stardust Genesis (let’s pray they’re honest). So, the following estimates are based on some players’ claims, which I find fair.
Community estimates put the total number of Spindles somewhere between 6–10 range as I said earlier. Average Star Silver yield per Nectar sits around 52–70. That usually means more than 500 Nectars and well over 100,000 Soul Coins.
I saw a player who bought everything outright and reportedly spent around 10,000 RMB (around $1400–$1700). Under average RNG, the real-money cost lands closer to $1,400–$2,000.
What Stardust Genesis Actually Is
A full-body outfit with a bright galaxy aesthetic. It is currently the single most expensive cosmetic in Mistfall Hunter. Design reception is polarizing: some players love the unique look and the flex value, others call it overly flashy and out of place in the dark-fantasy setting.
It has nothing to do with the Sorcerer’s Stardust magic school beyond the shared thematic name. Star Silver is also used for other Curio Shop cosmetics such as Voidflame Requiem weapon skins (same 7,200 Star Silver price).

If your goal is efficient progression or pure combat power, ignore Stardust Genesis completely. The resources are better spent elsewhere or simply not spent at all.
