In the Day 1 Afternoon, after the maid sends you outside to welcome the guests, look left at the plant pot to find the flower puzzle.
Arrange the flowers to match the growth pattern shown on the pot itself. Focus on both petals and leaves.
Bottom layer: simplest forms with no leaves. Each higher layer combines the elements below it.
Top flower: white petals, red center, leaves under the petals and two leaves on the stem.
The sides progress toward each other and meet at the top. Outside edges go from a plain red ball to a full white flower.

Where to Find It
After finishing the reception prep (cleaning floors, dusting the three family portraits, and lighting the chandelier candles in the correct order), talk to the maid and go through the door behind her into the garden.
You’ll see the milk jug on the ground, the goat, a pile of logs and rocks with cockroaches, the mailbox, a wooden box for stone tablets, the flagpole and the flower pot on the left.
What You Get and What To Do Next
Solving the puzzle immediately gives you a bunch of Flowers (the bouquet) and a Stone Tablet that appears in the pot.
Optional chaos route
After you solved the flowers puzzle, I recommend this route: Give the flowers straight to the goat before milking it. The goat eats them. Later, when you hand the half-eaten, goat-smelling bouquet to Alexandra, you unlock the Ruining the bouquet achievement. Pure Rusty Lake energy.
After that (or if you keep the nice flowers):
- Milk the goat: click the udder, quickly place the jug underneath, collect the Jug With Milk.
- The goat kicks the ground and opens a hole. Interact with it to grab the small key.
- Use the key on the mailbox to the right. Inside you’ll find another stone tablet and Alexandra’s task list.
- Take all three stone tablets to the wooden box nearby and arrange them by containment order (tree → nest → egg → bird on one line, house → cabinet → bottle → droplet on the other).
- Pull the flag up on the flagpole. The guests’ carriage finally arrives.
