Ready or Not New America Guide

Ready or Not New America is probably the hardest mission in this game. But what is it about? What loadout should you use? What are some pro-tips to help you win more easily? I spent hours finding out the answers to these questions and much more. Now, I’m ready to share them with you. So stick around and keep reading.
Note: By the way, you can play this Ready or Not: Boiling Point DLC final mission co-op with your friends as long as only one of you has the DLC!
What We’ll Cover:
Ready or Not New America Briefing
A New America is the final mission of Ready or Not Boiling Point DLC, right after All Gods Burn and No Good Deed. I don’t want to scare you, but this is probably the most difficult and complex mission. Even the briefing for A New America is over 7 minutes, the longest in the game!
The story begins in medias res, as Los Sueños is on the verge of social and economic collapse. You initiate on September 4, 2028 at precisely 15:33. The Mariposa Lily Organization, or the Rioters, has captured the Los Sueños City Hall. These are the same guys behind the last two missions’ chaos. They are challenging the best LSPD officer, David “Judge” Beaumont, to go after them.

However, enemies in this mission are not regular NPCs. They act like the LSPD SWAT team, employing traps and tactics! They are also CQB (Close Quarters Battle) suspect type, so be extra careful around hallways and stairwells. AND you have four floors to enjoy getting ambushed by these guys. The whole thing is INSANE. So don’t feel bad if you’re struggling and know that you are not alone.
A New America Core Objectives
You have 5 Core Objectives in this mission:
- Bring Order to Chaos
- Rescue All of the Civilians
- Disarm VIP Suspect and disable detonator
- Apprehend VIP Suspect
- Activate and intercept the detonator’s safe signal
This is not your typical building-clearing mission where you rush forward and leave unexplored rooms behind. There may be explosive charges in different rooms that can be detonated by suspects.
Warning: In the 1.4.1 patch, you can manually defuse civilians’ bomb vests. This was added to prevent unwanted explosions by gunfire. So utilize it and make sure you have defused these vests before engaging in combat.
A New America Soft Objectives
Lucky for us, A New America only has one soft objective and it is relatively easy. All you have to do is find and activate the radio jammer on the third floor. Doing this will prevent the Flowerman Bomberman from blowing up for about two minutes. So trust me and DO not skip this. Where is this signal disruptor? In one of these three locations:
- 2110 Conference Room
- 2108 Council Room
- 2104 Press Room

A New America Recommended Loadout
The Records Building has multiple floors that sometimes catch you in tight corridors and sometimes push you into open spaces. So I recommend building a loadout (using the New Arsenal) that helps you through both situations. You can use my build below as a sample:
- Primary Weapon: RTWC-6.5 Battle Rifle (5 primary magazines) – Useful for long-range precision in open areas.
- Tip: You can set up a magnified sight for the RTWC-6.5 to switch between 1x and 4x zoom to adapt to different floors.
- Secondary Weapon: USP45 (1 secondary magazine) – Swift option for tight corners and mid-breach.
- Vest: Heavy Armor
- Headwear: Ballistic Mask
- Equipment: 4 Flashbang – 1 Wedge
Recommended Teammate Loadout
For my teammates, I used a pretty much straightforward loadout very similar to mine. Check it out below:
- Primary Weapon: RTWC-6.5 Battle Rifle (4 to 5 mags)
- Secondary Weapon: USP45 (1 to 2 mags)
- Vest: Heavy Armor
- Headwear: Ballistic Mask
- Equipment: 5 Flashbang – two C2 for each Red and Blue team
A New America Tips for Each Floor
Clearing this mission is no easy task. Each floor has its own rules and patterns that you need to quickly get used to. Below are some tips for each floor to make each level easier to reach:
Floor 1
The first floor is a piece of cake. There are mostly civilians on the first floor. Nonetheless, double-check every room, as they spawn randomly each time.
Once you spawn, you will come upon a security room. Interact with the keyboard in the middle of the table to rewire the CCTV feed into your helmet camera. Although these guys are smart and try not to show up where the CCTVs are.

Floor 2
You can turn off the power on the second floor. Just walk up to the generator in the electrical room and interact with it. Doing this will disable the CCTV, the fire sprinklers and even the electrical doors. So use it wisely and strategically.

Floor 3
If you turned the power off on the second floor, you can enter the electronic door facing the staircase.
If you thought Mayor Vincente Echeverria was bound to have a panic room, you were absolutely right. You can find it by interacting with the book on the third shelf on the left of the window. This is a great way to get from one end of the map to the next without exposing yourself to the fourth floor.

Ready or Not A New America How to Stop Bomb (Radio Jammer)
One thing you should never skip is activating the radio jammer. Not only is this a New America’s soft objective, but it will also temporarily prevent the Flowerman Bomberman from blowing up the place before you reach him. But who is the Flowerman Bomberman or the Triggerman? You’ll find out later and you’ll thank me. Just remember, you have only about 2 minutes to stop him. The radio jammer can be in one of these three locations:
- 2110 Conference Room
- 2108 Council Room
- 2104 Press Room
Floor 4
As I mentioned before, you have only about two minutes to stop the Flowerman Bomberman. So first reach and defuse him before clearing the rest of the floor. Set your team in front of the courtroom and position yourself in the room through the electronic door on the right.
Keep in mind, arresting the Flowerman Bomberman is not enough. You also need to disarm the bomb on his chest.
A New America General Tips
If you want to make sure that you will not only finish this mission, but also get an S ranking, don’t forget these tips:
- Securing Civilians: If civilians are not cooperative, simply shoot next to them. This will get them to drop down and allow you to secure them.
- Doors being kicked: From my experience, every time the enemy kicks a door open, they throw in a flashbang afterward. So be alert every time you hear the door being kicked open.
- Keycards and Doors: Keep an eye out for keycards that are typically scattered around the first and second floors. The keycards can open the electronic doors directly or through interacting with certain computers.
- Close the Blinds: Use the blinds to your advantage and keep them closed to avoid the enemy’s sight.
- NVGs & IR Tripwires: If you cross tripwires, it will notify the enemy of your current position. It’s important to find and disable these wires to prevent your position from being leaked.
- Hidden Ammo Cache: You will use up a lot of ammo in this mission and it’s always useful to find some extra. There is a yellow ammo crate behind the staircase entrance on the fourth floor. Don’t forget it.
Ready or Not A New America Secret Ending
A New America secret ending is technically a “bad ending,” but if you’re anything like me, you’re itching to see how to get it. Here’s how:
Once you arrest the VIP suspect, ‘The Flowerhead’, you can diffuse the bomb vest or detonate it yourself. Choose to detonate the explosives and watch the buildings around crumble. This will trigger the secret ending and put you in jail! No spoilers from this point. Go ahead and play it yourself.

There is also another ‘good’ secret ending. Learn more by reading the Ready or Not Secret Ending.
That’s it. Now start the game and try again. Did I miss a tip that you noticed? I’m sure I have. Let me know in the comments and I’ll add them to the post.
FAQ
How many floors are there in A New America?
There are four floors in total. Each one feels different too. Some areas are tight and slow, while others are wide open and can get you killed really fast if you’re not careful.
What is the best loadout for A New America?
You want something balanced. A rifle that works for both close and mid-range fights is ideal, along with heavy armor to keep you alive longer. And don’t forget flashbangs. You’re going to need a lot of them.
Where can I find the radio jammer?
The radio jammer spawns on the third floor, and it can be in one of three rooms:
2110 Conference Room
2108 Council Room
2104 Press Room
Make sure you activate it. Seriously, don’t skip this part.
Where is the panic room in the mayor’s office?
It’s hidden behind a bookshelf. Just interact with one of the books and it opens up. It gives you a safer path across the map without exposing yourself to some of the more dangerous areas.
Can I play A New America in co-op for free?
Yep. You can play it with friends, and the best part is that only one of you needs to own the DLC.
