For every video game that offers you outfit customization, more often than not, this question pops up: how can I wear all black? Red Dead Redemption 2, especially, is no exception. In this article, I’ll show you how you can get all black outfits in RDR2 story mode. With that being said, let’s begin.
What You Will Find
Classy All Black Suit for Arthur Morgan and John Marston
This is pretty much self-explanatory. You can swap the coat or vest if you’re still early in the game. You can hold off the Bandit challenges if you don’t want to do it right now. However, to show you what it looks like, for the images below this is exactly what I used.

For this all black outfit, I made some minor adjustments so that it looks different from the previous outfit and it gives you the impression that it’s just the right outfit for the town of Valentine, or warmer parts of the map like Blackwater and Armadillo.

Classic Dark Gunslinger Look
There comes a time when you should do various missions, or feel like you ought to explore the wilderness and want to do some cowboy stuff. This all black cowboy outfit has been my preferred choice during my dozens of playthroughs.

Black Legendary Trapper Outfit
This is reserved for the part when you’ve familiarized yourself with how the hunting system works and whatnot. Keep in mind that since this outfit is mostly from the legendary stuff that the Trapper crafts for you, this is for cold weather.
So if you want to go all black in either weather condition, here you are. Though I wanted to throw some dark brown into the mix. Yet still, this is the closest to all black with legendary clothing from the Trapper.
