Mistfall Hunter Path of Glory: All Ranks, Rewards and Point Values Explained

Mistfall Hunter Path of Glory is the game’s ranked ladder, and it’s easier to get wrong than it looks. It unlocks at Level 6 and you toggle it on yourself. It also doesn’t put you in a special queue. Seven tiers, 21 divisions, and exactly one way to lose points. I also dug up the full score table from the live client, so you’ll see what every action is actually worth. Here’s how all of it works.
Disclaimer: All point values and score bands below are current in-game data as of 4 August 2026.
What You’ll Read:
What Is Mistfall Hunter Path of Glory
Path of Glory is a scoring layer that works on top of normal matches. It replaced the beta’s three leaderboards (Hunt Ranking, Gylden Hunt and Demon Hunt), and nothing you earned on those carried over.

Enabling it does not change matchmaking. You are in the same lobbies with the same people either way, which honestly is the best decision Bellring made here.
How To Turn On Path of Glory
To turn it on, tick the “Enable Path of Glory” checkbox on the Stage Selection screen before you queue. The setting is per player, so one guy in your trio can be climbing while the other two are just farming.

Leave it off when you are testing a build or a boss, or running in with a full bag you can’t afford to lose. Those are the runs where you die, and dying is the only thing that costs you rank.
All 7 Ranks and Rewards
There are seven tiers split into 21 divisions. The bands get wider as you climb while the actions that pay out shrink, which is the real reason the top half drags.
| Tier | Score | Divisions | Reset | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Duskborn | 0–1,499 | I 0–499 · II 500–999 · III 1,000–1,499 | 0 | Pro Combat Bag |
| Mistwalker | 1,500–2,999 | I 1,500–1,999 · II 2,000–2,499 · III 2,500–2,999 | 500 | Elite Combat Bag |
| Dawnseeker | 3,000–4,799 | I 3,000–3,599 · II 3,600–4,199 · III 4,200–4,799 | 1,000 | Avatar: Thread of Fate |
| Fateweaver | 4,800–6,599 | I 4,800–5,399 · II 5,400–5,999 · III 6,000–6,599 | 1,500 | Demonic Stone |
| Oracle | 6,600–9,199 | I 6,600–7,249 · II 7,250–7,899 · III 7,900–8,549 · IV 8,550–9,199 | 2,000 | Winged Helm |
| Exalted | 9,200–11,999 | I 9,200–9,899 · II 9,900–10,599 · III 10,600–11,299 · IV 11,300–11,999 | 2,500 | Get Up! (gesture) |
| Zenith | 12,000+ | One open division | 2,500 | Standing Pose: Confidence |
Reaching a tier is not enough. You also have to complete 3 matches in it before the reward unlocks. The first two are free loadouts rather than cosmetics. So Duskborn and Mistwalker are worth it even if you never play ranked again.
How to Earn and Lose Rank Points
Points land at match settlement, and what pays out depends on your current tier. (A dash means the action is worth nothing at that stage.)
| Action | Duskborn–Mistwalker | Dawnseeker–Fateweaver | Oracle–Exalted | Zenith |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard escape | +5 | +5 | — | — |
| Final escape | +10 | +10 | +5 | +5 |
| Boss kill | +30 | +30 | +25 | +20 |
| Greater elite kill | +20 | +20 | +10 | +5 |
| Elite kill | +10 | +5 | — | — |
| Player kill | +20 (cap 80) | +20 (cap 80) | +20 (cap 80) | +20 (cap 80) |
| Objective completed | +5 | +5 | +5 | +5 |
| First to open a container | +1 (cap 10) | +1 (cap 5) | — | — |
| Extracted loot value | +0.002/unit (cap 10) | +0.002/unit (cap 10) | +0.002/unit (cap 5) | +0.002/unit (cap 5) |
| Failed extraction | −5 | −20 | −30 | −60 |
| Per-match cap | 90 | 90 | 90 | 90 |
Note: Check out the loot column. At 0.002 per unit you need 5,000 extracted value just to hit a 10 point cap. So getting a full bag is worth almost nothing and costs you the mobility that keeps you alive. I ignored this for two days before doing the math.
Player kills need a caveat. Bellring’s own dev note lists four point sources (extraction, monsters, tasks and assets) and rival kills is not one of them, but the live client pays +20 per kill up to 80. It works. They just never said so publicly.
Failing to extract is the only thing that deducts points. Not losing a duel, not leaving with an empty bag. And the penalty scales hard: −5 at Duskborn is nothing, −60 at Zenith is two thirds of a perfect match.
Note: Values shift with patches, so check the button next to your tier name on the main screen. It lists what your tier currently pays.
How to Climb Path of Glory
There is one real wall on this ladder and it sits at Fateweaver I. From that point Normal difficulty stops giving Rank Points entirely. So you have to move up to harder modes to keep climbing. Bellring recommends squadding up for this, and they are right. Solo above that line is miserable.

Below Oracle: Extract and Leave
Take the small haul and get out. A standard escape is +5, a failed one is −5 or −20, and nothing about a fight pays better than just leaving alive. Avoid PvP where you can, clear a couple of elites on the way, then extract. Boring, I know, but it works.
Oracle and Up: The Ladder Flips
Everything changes here. Standard escapes, elite kills and container-opening all drop to zero. What still pays is bosses, greater elites, objectives, final-wave extraction and kills. Player kills are the only action worth the same at every tier. So the rat strategy that carried you here quietly stops working.
Four kills fills 80 of the 90-point cap. One good fight is almost a maxed match on its own.
The risk side flips too. A wipe now costs 30 to 60 points, so pushing a fight you would have taken at Mistwalker can erase a full match of progress.
Players have already worked this out. High-rank hunters report camping boss arenas and third-partying whoever pulls it, which makes sense when a boss plus a kill is worth up to +50 and the team fighting it risks −60. Scout the entrance before you commit, and expect company.
That is everything on Path of Glory. Are you climbing or leaving it off? Let me know in the comments.
FAQ
Did I lose my Path of Glory rank?
Probably not. Some players have reported a display glitch where progress looks wiped or reset, then shows up correctly in the next match. Play one more run before you panic.
Is Path of Glory rank per character or account-wide?
Nobody has confirmed this yet. Bellring never stated it and no guide answers it, so if you main two classes, check your tier on both before assuming it carries.
Are Path of Glory rewards the same as the Battle Pass?
No. The Slumbering Contract battle pass and the ranked tier rewards are separate tracks, both tied to Season 1. Climbing does not progress your pass.
