High on Life 2 Ankhs for the Memories Guide

To get the Ankhs for the Memories achievement/trophy in High on Life 2 for the secret ending, you have to complete all three escape rooms in the game. In this article, I will show you how to complete each of them. With that out of the way, let’s solve some puzzles.

Escape Room Location

Twilly’s No Escape is located southwest of Pinkline Harbor. You unlock this area when you start the Larry Pinkstock mission.

Note that you will need Travis & Jan guns to raise the platform in here, as shown in the picture, so that you can have access to the escape room or you can simply jump.

When you get there, go through the door and talk with Twilly. He asks you, “How do y’all feel about doin’ some escapin’ today?” to which you reply yes.

Then you should sign the accident waiver so that in case anything happens to you, Twilly won’t be responsible. Thus, the first challenge begins.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should solve all the three escape room puzzles before you can get out. The Ankhs for the Memories achievement/trophy is missable. Do that before the final mission.

Pharaoh’s Tomb Escape Room Puzzle

After you’re done talking with Twilly, go down the hallway. The first door to the right is Pharaoh’s Tomb. You can’t miss it.

The first escape room puzzle in High on Life 2 can literally be solved in less than ten seconds! When you enter the room, you can see that there’s a green mummy lying on some boxes to your left. To your right, in the corner of the room, there’s an alarm clock you should interact with.

Do this and then the mummy wakes up and reveals the Ankh. Take it and get out of the room.

Pharaoh’s Tomb is done and dusted.

Go back to Twilly. He asks your opinion on the Pharaoh’s Tomb and how it was. Try to get out of the place and you will see that you can’t. There’s a wall that blocks the way.

Just like I mentioned, you can see that you can’t get out of here until all of the three escape rooms have been completed. Talk with Twilly again. Now it’s time to do the next escape room.

Alien Wasteland Escape Room Puzzle

Go to the second door to the right down the hallway.

To your right lies some red meat in a trash can. Pick it up and place it on the red grill in the center of the room to cook it.

Now take the cooked meat to the dog house on the far right side of the room. Place it in front of the dog house door. The hungry mummy now gives you the Ankh.

Take it and get the heck out of Dodge to be done with the Alien Wasteland escape room.

It’s ironic how Twilly says you have 60 minutes to escape but you can do it in 6 seconds. Anyway, same thing as before. Get back to Twilly. Tell him how you felt about this escape room.

Try to get out of the place again, only to find you can’t. Walking through the exit door takes you to Twilly. There’s only one escape room left to deal with.

Scary House Escape Room Puzzle

Go straight down to the end of the hall and open the door to this escape room.

The first thing to do is pick up the chainsaw in the middle of the room. Turn around. You can see that to your left, there’s a red fuel tank that you should use to refill the chainsaw.

Now go to the mummy who’s sitting and watching TV like a good little boy. Interact with it to use the chainsaw on it.

Then pick it up and place it on the bed. The Ankh spawns on the ground next to the bed. Pick it up and leave.

On your way out, you have a conversation with Twilly. Without telling you anything about it, just after the cutscene, interact with a little tablet on the desk to sign up for the newsletter.

WARNING: If you forget to sign up for the newsletter, you will have to play the game from the very beginning to get the secret ending.

Now all you have to do is complete the game. The achievement/trophy will unlock after the credits.
