Here’s the thing about Echoes of Aincrad: For the first time in the franchise, you’re not playing as Kirito or Asuna. You’re playing as you. Well, a version of you.
In Aincrad character creation you can make your real-life appearance. You can pick your body type, your hairstyle, your hair color, etcetera. You’ll be able to tweak everything from skin color to an enormous number of hairstyles.

After creating your character, you’ll want to start collecting useful items that make exploration easier. One of the most useful early items is the Blink Talisman, which gives you a valuable mobility option and can help you move around the world more efficiently.
