In Creature Kitchen, there are different puzzles which are scattered through the game. While some of them are easy to solve, they can be problematic if you do not pay attention to small details. By solving these puzzles, you can find new recipes for meals and make the monsters happy.

Creature Kitchen Puzzles

Fridge Door
The fridge holds items like butter, milk, strawberries and eggs. To unlock it, you need to befriend the crow creature, Corrin.
Feed her two different meals. Prepare any two recipes (simple options include Pancakes and Toast) and place them on the blue plate by holding the food and interacting with the plate.
To get Corrin to take the meals, interact with the windchimes located above and to the right of the plate. Once she receives both meals, she will drop a fish-shaped key onto the plate outside on the porch to the left. Take the key and use it on the fridge lock to open it.
Power Box
This puzzle relies more on trial and error than careful strategy. There are no clear clues that indicate the correct order for the power box breaker switches.
The objective is simple: activate the switches in a sequence that causes all the orange lights to illuminate at the same time.
Weather Puzzle
In the Heart Door room, to the back left side inside the dresser, you will find a puzzle with six different spinnable plates and four different weather symbols. There is a piece of paper attached to a clipboard on the desk to the left of the dresser titled “Weather Report”. This paper will give you all of the clues needed to figure out the puzzle.
The sequence is as follows: Rain / Clouds / Rain / Rain / Thunderstorm / Clouds.
Owl Eye Puzzle
In the Heart Door room, look to the right as soon as you enter to find a tree painted on the wall with four owls positioned in each corner. The aim is to activate all four owls so their eyes light up at the same time. To achieve this, you must select the owls in the correct sequence by clicking on their heads.
If you choose the wrong order, the puzzle will reset and require you to begin again from the first owl. The correct sequence is: Bottom Left / Top Right / Top Left / Bottom Right.
Rose Puzzle
Once you unlock the Shed using the Diamond-Shaped Key, head inside and look to the table on your left. There, you will find a note that provides instructions on how to plant and grow a seed.
By this point, you should already have obtained the seed after completing the Flower Puzzle (covered in the guide). Growing it is simple (just follow the step-by-step directions listed on the clipboard in the shed). As long as you complete each instruction in order, the process will move forward without any complications.
Teardrop Door Key
All you need to do is befriend Grey the Dog, who lives in the dog house outside. To earn her trust, serve her the meals she loves most.
Once Grey considers you a friend, she will happily retrieve the Teardrop Key from her dog house and place it on your porch. After picking it up, head inside and use the key to unlock the Teardrop Door located at the end of the hallway on the left.

Ghost Key
The ghost key, which allows you to serve the final meal to Pants and complete the game, is obtained from the Moth after you give him his favorite meals.
Moon Door Key
The Moon Key will be available when you give Sassfoot his favorite food. Use this key to unlock the Oddities room.
Globe Puzzle
In the Oddities Room or Moon Door, look to the left side at the bottom of the stairs to find a globe. Interact with it to begin the puzzle. You must press the buttons on the globe in the correct order to open it and reveal a new recipe along with a new ingredient.
The correct sequence can be discovered within the same room, displayed above the fireplace.
Typewriter Handle
The Typewriter handle can be found in the drawer directly under the typewriter, alongside a new recipe.
Clock Puzzle
In the final room, the oddities room (Moon Door room), there is a grandfather clock with arrows that move in either direction. Directly across from the clock is a typewriter on a desk. After attaching the typewriter handle, interact with it to receive a hint for the clock puzzle.
To solve the puzzle, move the clock hand to the numbers in order according to the riddle:
- One Pace Past Due South: Start at 6 (South) and add one pace, landing on 7.
- A Couple Paces Past North’s Flame: Start at 12 (North) and move counterclockwise two paces, landing on 10.
- The Town Named Fore: Corresponds directly to 4.

Coffee Cup Cabinet
To unlock the Coffee Cup cabinet, you must first befriend Jake the Box, who resides in the Heart Door room. After feeding Jake his three meals, he will give you the key to the Coffee Cup cabinet. Make sure you remain in the room with him, as he only drops the key when present.
Bathroom Bead Puzzle
To complete the Bathroom Bead puzzle, you need three beads: Red, Blue and Green. The Green Bead is obtained by shaking the tree located to the right of the toilet. The Blue Bead is inside the medicine cabinet on the left wall of the toilet.
The Red Bead is found in the blue towel cabinet next to the medicine cabinet and bathroom sink. After collecting all three beads, place them into the bead slot behind the shower curtain. This puzzle rewards you with a new recipe and the ingredient Raw Chicken.
Bowl Cabinet Key
After you befriend Gerald, you can unlock the Bowl Cabinet, which is required to prepare recipes such as cereal. To earn Gerald’s favor, provide him with meals he enjoys. Once he is satisfied, he will give you the X key to access the cabinet.
Calendar Puzzle
The Calendar Puzzle is likely the first challenge you will encounter in Creature Kitchen. This puzzle requires careful observation of the kitchen calendar, located next to the door leading to the yard. Four dates on the calendar are marked with unusual symbols. Use the Zoom feature (press “Z” on your keyboard) to examine these symbols closely.
Each symbol corresponds to one on the locked box beneath the “Our Family” book, situated on the right side of the front door. To solve the puzzle, match each calendar symbol to the corresponding symbol on the locked box and use this to determine the correct number sequence. For those who need the solution, the combination is: 9, 1, 7, 4.
Diamond Key
To obtain the diamond-shaped key that unlocks the shed in the front yard, you must first befriend the Goober that lives in the Infinite Pantry. Once the Goober likes you enough, it will drop the key.
Flower Puzzle
Once inside the shed, to the far back right side of the table, you will see a flower box. This puzzle is just about getting the order correct and lighting every light up at the same time. This one does not appear to have any hints and can be difficult.
Cheese Cabinet Key
To unlock the Cheese Cabinet, simply feed the raccoon, known as Trash Cat, two different sandwiches. You can choose any sandwiches, though PBJ and Fried Egg are easy options.
After receiving both meals, Trash Cat will drop the key on your porch. You do not need to give both sandwiches at once.
Freezer Door Key
To open the freezer door, you must first befriend Hopper, the frog who lives by the river. The hint “Two meals from the yard” refers to feeding him two dishes that contain mushrooms. After you give Hopper the correct meals, he will reward you with the freezer key.
Heart Door Key
To unlock the Heart Door, located as the first door to the left in the hallway, you must befriend the mouse named Them, who lives in a hidey hole inside the kitchen. Unlock the fridge and take a wedge of cheese.
Place the cheese on the floor near the hidey hole and wait for Them to appear. Take a picture of the mouse to add to your Our Family book for reference. Next, feed Them three different meals that include cheese as an ingredient.
Any recipe with cheese will work, though options like Pizza, Cheese and Crackers and Alfredo are effective choices. Once Them consumes all three cheesy meals, he will deliver the heart-shaped key from his hidey hole. This key opens the Heart Door.
