There is a warehouse on Black Island in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced that you need to loot from a soldier. The key opens the door to the Black Island Warehouse, which is full of loot and items. Oh, now you pirates are curious, I know it.
How to Get the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Black Island Key
The first step is obvious. Go to Black Island at coordinates (914,610). When you are on the island, go to the marked location on the map below.
Now you will see a mini camp. Before you rush in, hang back for a second. You will overhear guards talking about who carries the key. Once that conversation ends, a key icon appears above the guard holding it (in my run, it was the soldier facing the chair and crates). It is time to show your aggressive or stealthy style. Kill him and loot the key. Then, head to the warehouse (marked on the image below).
Note: This location is only guaranteed on your first raid. After that, the key holder spawns randomly each time the warehouse resets. It is a 2 hours cooldown.
Loot the warehouse to get the following items:
- 1 Flight Into Egypt
- 28 Wine
- 14 Sugar
- 11 Rum Barrels
- 1250 Reales
Is There a Bug in Finding Black Island Key?
Users in the community have reported that there is a bug when finding the Black Island key. I have not experienced any bugs and found the key without any difficulty.
However, in case you encounter the bug, I will provide you with some solutions that users are posting on social media.
Based on community data, you cannot loot the key while doing the mission for Lucy. Finish her objectives on the island and then walk into the cabin of your ship to reset the instance. Walk back out. The guards will respawn and one of them will have the key.
Another theory is that if you attacked at night and the keyholder did not spawn, step completely outside of the restricted “red” zone. Use the time-change function to wait for daytime.
A guard carrying the key should spawn within a minute. Kill him and loot the key.
