- Ranged Mode: When you have ammo, little blue dots will follow Mina around (representing your maximum of eight shots). In this mode, you can fire projectiles that travel nearly the entire horizontal length of the screen. You can also shoot diagonally and bullets can ricochet off obstacles up to six times. The projectiles can even pass right through an enemy if the bullet’s damage exceeds their remaining health.
- Melee Mode: Once you run out of bullets, the floating dots turn red. Your weapon becomes a fast-swinging mace with a short, one-tile reach. Striking foes or breakable objects in this mode is essential, as every successful melee hit reloads two bullets.

The Ossex Blacksmith: Head to the orange-red building near the center of Ossex to find Legovich the blacksmith. If the Battery Buster is your very first weapon purchase, it will cost 2,000 Bones (the price jumps to 2,500 Bones for any weapon bought afterward).
Be warned: trying to claim your second weapon purchase from this shop will trigger a boss fight in the basement against Legovich’s brother, Armand.
