How to Get Axum Vision Subnautica 2

Trying to figure out how to unlock the mysterious alien observatory in Subnautica 2? This strange structure hides access to deeper sections of the facility. But before you can open the door or activate the giant dormant turbine nearby, you first need to unlock the Axum Vision Adaptation.

This guide explains where to find Axum Vision Subnautica 2 and how to restore power to the alien machinery. Here is a complete walkthrough for acquiring this important item.

Reach the Alien Ruins Location

After completing the Tadpole Pens, head around 1,100 meters east of your Lifepod to find the Alien Ruins biome. Be careful of hostile creatures, including a leviathan.

At the observatory, you will find a sealed door and pedestal that cannot be activated yet because the area lacks power. Before continuing, craft these upgrades:

  • Bioscanner Upgrade
  • Feedback Resonator Upgrade

Get the Axum Vision Adaptation

Swim beyond the base to find the Angel Comb beneath the giant turbine. Nearby are two control rooms. However, their terminals cannot yet be understood.

Follow the Angel Comb’s purple tendrils and destroy the glowing Bloom Cankers. Use the Feedback Resonator. They close when approached directly, so attack from range.

The tendrils split into two paths:

Ravine and Cavern

Destroy the Bloom Cankers hidden along the ravine and inside the cavern beneath the Alien Ruins.

Metal Farms and Cicada Wreck

Follow the second branch to the glowing green Metal Farms and then to the Cicada Wreck (Stairway to Heaven). Destroy the bloom web blocking the entrance and clear the Bloom Cankers inside. Oxygen Tunics nearby help with air supply.

After destroying all cankers, return to the Angel Comb and destroy the final two attached to it. This reveals a glowing pink core. Interact with it to obtain the Axum Vision Subnautica 2. This allows you to read alien glyphs.
