Soulmask Sobek Crocodile Boss Fight Guide: How to Summon and Defeat the Sobek Crocodile
The Sobek Crocodile is the first major boss fight you encounter in the Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC. Let’s see how to summon and defeat this vicious animal.

How to Summon the Sobek Crocodile
Head to Ancient Pyramid located in Barren Sandland, west of Three River Junction.
In order to summon the Sobek Crocodile at the pyramid altar, you must gather and offer specific tribute items. Make sure you have the following items in your inventory:
- 5 Premium Fresh Meat
- 5 Beast Bone
- 5 Beast Blood
- 1 Worship Container
Without these offerings, the Sobek Crocodile simply won’t spawn when you reach the arena. So, make sure to have all of them.
How to Defeat the Sobek Crocodile
Now comes the not-so-hard part! You see, you can defeat the Sobek Crocodile with your basic weapons, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. You have to stay mobile throughout the entire fight. Dual blades are highly recommended for this. That lets you move freely while you can inflict damage on Sobek, which is really important.
While you do all that, you have to watch out for some of his dangerous moves as well. When you see this red flash, make sure to dodge. You can’t block this attack and that’s his most damaging attack which can deplete your health bar quickly.
When Sobek performs this fire-spitting move in a circle which covers a vast area of effect, dodge to avoid the attack.
When you get him to half of his health, he summons lightning. Stay behind a pillar to survive this one.
What you want to do is focus on his tail. If you chop it off, he gets stunned and you have more time to inflict more damage on him.
Sobek periodically summons water or fire tornadoes. Simply get away from those areas to avoid the damage. Last but not least, don’t forget, if you repeatedly get grabbed or hit, that applies a mud debuff. This slows your movements drastically, which makes the boss fight much harder to manage.

- Bleeding Mod 3
- Golden Holy Relic Key (Barren Sandland Pyramid)
After you’ve dealt with the Sobek Crocodile, head up the stairs and go through the door. Down the hallway, go down the stairs and interact with the altar to claim your rewards.
