How to Enable Cyberpunk 2077 The Prophet’s Song Quest?
After completing The Rescue, head to Little China and speak with Garry the Prophet outside Misty’s Esoterica. Listen to his conspiracy theories each time you visit.
You need to hear his dialogue five times to trigger the side job. After the fifth conversation, Nomads will attack Garry. To unlock The Prophet’s Song, you must step in and save him from the attackers.
The Prophet’s Song Quest Walkthrough
This side job centers around a conspiracy theorist named Garry the Prophet. If you follow Twitch streamers, you might recognize his appearance and voice as CohhCarnage. This is one of the many Easter eggs in Cyberpunk 2077.
The quest requires you to return to his location multiple times before it officially unlocks and reveals its name.
Visit and Defend Garry
If you space out your visits to Garry the Prophet, you will hear a different conspiracy theory each time. Stay nearby and listen carefully for chances to respond. During these moments, other NPCs may approach and mock or challenge his ideas.
If you choose to support Garry and go along with his theories, the situation will eventually escalate. Two Nomads will show up and attack him. Defeat them to protect Garry. This will officially trigger the side job The Prophet’s Song.
Go to the Meeting Spot
After the fight, V questions Garry the Prophet about whether his theories have any real proof. Garry then mentions a secret meeting happening that night in Watson, giving you a lead to investigate.
When you arrive at the location, you will have a few conversations with Johnny Silverhand. After that, hide nearby and wait for a group of Maelstrom members to appear.
When the objective updates to “Seize the conspirators’ chip”, act quickly and take them down. If you hesitate, they may escape and cause the mission to fail.
Return to Garry
Take the chip and return to Garry. There you will find one of his followers speaking in his place. Talk to her to learn what happened to Garry and where he might be. She will ask for a donation toward a monument. But the amount you give does not affect the outcome.
Once the conversation ends, Johnny Silverhand appears nearby for a final discussion. After this exchange, the side job The Prophet’s Song is completed.
