AC Black Flag Resynced Pirate Captain Outfit: How to Find It

For players who care about their style and also are fans of AC Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft provides an outfit with nice cosmetic. Among many outfit options to choose from in Assassins Creed Black Flag, this one is my favorite: Pirate Captain.
First, you must find the chest in the Ambergris Key cave, located in the coordinates 30,159. While the process may seem simple, you can read the rest of this guide if you need additional help.
How to Get AC Black Flag Resynced Pirate Captain Outfit?
Follow these steps and you will find the AC Black Flag Resynced Pirate Captain outfit:
Step 1: Find the Corozal Treasure Map
Before you can dig anywhere on Ambergris Key, you need the treasure map that unlocks the chest there. Head to Corozal, in western Chinchorro and look for a campfire on the northeastern beach. The map is sitting right next to it. Without Corozal Treasure map in your inventory, the chest at Ambergris Key will not be interactable.

Step 2: Go to the Ambergris Key cave
First, open your map and locate the Ambergris Key cave in the Chinchorro region (coordinates 30,159). You will see a Key icon on the map marking the exact spot (check the images below).

After swimming underwater, look for a shattered barrel resting next to a pillar. Stand in front of it and go to the right. Just a little further ahead, the “Dig Up” prompt will appear.

Step 3: Loot the chest and the Rewards
Once you are standing over the marked spot in the alcove, you will get the “Dig Up” prompt. Interact with it and you will receive the Black Flag Resynced Pirate Captain outfit and 2,000 Reales.

Do Outfits Impact the Edwards’s Stats?
Outfits in Black Flag Resynced are purely cosmetic. There are no stealth or combat bonuses tied to any of them. Therefore picking the Pirate Captain outfit is entirely a style choice rather than a gameplay one. If I were you, I would definitely equip this outfit. It is really elegant and gives me the vibe of a true pirate.
In the original 2013 release, the Pirate Captain outfit shared its base model with the Privateer, Explorer, and Merchant outfits, as well as Haytham Kenway’s Overcoat. If the look feels familiar, that’s why.
