The quest “Make A Deal With Transnational Capital” forces you to find the King of Trade. He is an escaped monkey who lives in the animal zone, an abandoned exotic pet shop in Quisach. You must interact with him to get a bag of boar kibble. Remember, if you offer him the wrong items, he will reject them. Then, you need to give the kibble to Reno in exchange for the exit papers to help ultra violeta escape.

King of Trade Accepted Items
This monkey does not care about normal currency. He only accepts very specific items from your inventory. If you want his boar kibble, you must bring him one of the following items:

The Homemade Gun Warning
You have the option to offer him the homemade gun. Don’t do this. If you give a firearm to a monkey, he cannot be trusted with it. The game will punish you immediately. You will instantly see a game over screen. So, you should stick to clothes, toys, or cigarettes.
Where to Find the King of Trade
You can find the monkey on the second floor of the Animal Zone building. As mentioned, this is an abandoned exotic pet shop located in the Old Docks area. The main entrance is near the police officer.
Sometimes, players encounter a bug where the roller shutter door does not highlight. If you face this issue, you need to visit the door at night and pick the lock. After you unlock it once, it stays open during the day and night.
Alternatively, you can take a much easier route. Go to the door of the office of Tempo above the Bootleg Bazaar. Walk across the bridge and head left. You will reach a roof door that lets you inside without dealing with the broken shutter.
How to Fix the Broken Boar Kibble Trade
The biggest problem with this monkey happens if you interact with him too early in the game. Some players trade all their good items just to see his inventory. When the main story finally asks them to get the boar kibble, they have nothing left to offer. The game only gives them the option to trade a wolf cup. Unfortunately, he refuses to accept the wolf cup, and your progression stops.
If you cannot find a valid trade item, the game forces you to abandon the rescue mission and sell out Ultra Violeta to progress. To avoid this, the Zero Parades community has discovered a few workarounds:
- Assemble the Model train. If you have not given the train back to Frederik, you can use it. Find one half in the bathtub of Reno’s penthouse and the other half on the drunk man near the vending machine. Glue them together at a workbench and offer the completed train to the monkey.
- Retrieve the Teenagers tooth. If you previously left this item at the hidden city shrine, you can go back and pick it up again to use as a trade item.
- Look for extra cigarettes. You can find a hidden pack of Ouroboros Black cigarettes inside the air conditioner outdoor unit near the stairs in Party Alley. You must use a crowbar to open it.
- Steal from the bar. Go to the local bar and try to steal money. After your robbery attempt, the bartender will offer expensive cigarettes. You can buy them and trade them to the monkey.
- Buy another toy. Head back to the Bootleg Bazaar and see if you can buy another Monkey plushy toy.
- Use the WAND tool (formerly known as WeMod). PC players can download a tool called WAND. You can use WAND to add another Monkey plushy toy to your inventory. The script works perfectly if you trade the toy. Do not use WAND to add the boar kibble directly, because it breaks the quest script.
Transnational Capital Quest Decisions
The quest involving the monkey requires a major choice regarding ultra violeta. Your decision changes which companion joins your team.
- Help Ultra Violeta escape: If you trade for the boar kibble and give it to Reno, Yana becomes your Cupbearer for the Zero Out The Grand Lich mission.
- Trade her to EMTERR: You can agree to a trade with Kaleidoscope at the Fogged Mirror. You will swap her for Dante at the Pitol Tract. If you choose this path, Kaleidoscope becomes your companion. You must kill Dante during the exchange if you want to achieve a Z-rank rating.
Finally, this monkey is just a small hurdle in your larger mission. You just need to keep a few spare items in your inventory and avoid giving him dangerous weapons. When you secure the boar kibble, you can focus on building your final crew and finishing the game.
