Scritchy Scratchy Night Market: How to Unlock & Get Tokens

The Scritchy Scratchy Night Market allows you to buy new skins and cosmetics for your game. Players beat the entire game and never figure out how to access this hidden shop. First of all, you need to open the Night Market in Prestige Tree. You must buy the Badge Collection from the Gadgets tab. Then, you have to open the book and manually press claim to earn your Night Market Red Tokens.

To progress towards 100% completion, read below to find our Scritchy Scratchy walkthrough. We break down exactly how to unlock the cosmetic shop, how to claim your currency, and how to fix the common missing ticket bug.

How to Unlock the Night Market

You cannot access the cosmetic shop right away. You must progress far enough to earn a specific Prestige upgrade in the skill tree. Once you do that, follow these steps to open the shop.

  1. Go to the Gadgets tab in the main menu.
  2. Purchase the Badge Collection item. It costs $50,000,000 to unlock.
  3. Look at the top left corner of the screen.
  4. Click the new shop icon located right next to the JP tab.

How to Earn Night Market Tokens

The game does not give you shop currency automatically. You earn Night Market tokens by completing various in-game achievements.

You must open the Badge Collection book yourself. Scroll through the pages and manually claim the rewards for every badge you own. Once you click the claim button, the Red Tokens will immediately appear in your inventory.

How to Fix the Missing Tickets Bug

Many players reach the end of the game and realize they are exactly five or 100 tickets short. This prevents you from unlocking the Walk-In-Closet and Achievement Hunter completion achievements.

If you still lack the correct currency after updating the game, try these community solutions.

  • Scroll down to the very bottom of the Badge Collection. The developers hid some new badges at the very end of the list.
  • Start a fresh save file if you are playing on an older version. The new achievements sometimes fail to load properly on old files.

Known Night Market Cosmetics

The developer expanded the store inventory in Patch 1.1 by adding 12 new cosmetics. We sorted the table below to show you the newest Patch 1.1 items first, followed by the original base-game cosmetics.
