The Tong Ling vs. Jiang Yingxue Event
Many players get stuck on the fight between Tong Ling and Jiang Yingxue. Jiang Yingxue is supposed to win this fight for the story to progress. Tong Ling has massive stats and usually blows her out of the water.
There is good news for players struggling here. After patch 1.04, the developers made Jiang Yingxue controllable during this battle. You can now use items and control her moves to secure the victory much easier.

You can gain insight by fishing. Recent updates increased the drop rates for gold-tier fish. You should also look for the Golden crab in high-level coastal areas. This rare crab grants permanent spiritual energy buffs and helps you unlock the epic fishing rod. You should fish often to gain permanent stat boosts and feed your beast companions.
Hunting can consume a lot of stamina. Do not stress too much about hunting until you find the Golden bow. This weapon is hidden in a cave on Snake Island and makes hunting rare animals much faster.
Batch Alchemy
Alchemy can feel tedious at first. However, the developers added a Batch alchemy feature. Reach Alchemy level 3 and craft a top-tier quality item manually just once. After that, the game lets you automate the entire process.
Chess Tricks
Chess is simple once you understand the math. It works like rock-paper-scissors based on level differences. If you tie, you win. Play against the level 6 opponent in the main city during the day. Drink wine to restore your energy and farm XP quickly.
Time Limits and Sect Affairs
You will notice that some sect affairs say “no time limit”. This means you can complete them anytime before the cultivation phase ends.
The cultivation phase usually ends in December of Year 3. After this date, the game opens up into a free exploration map. Try to finish all your important side quests before the three-year mark to avoid missing out on essential rewards.
