How to Get the MW4 Scavenger Trophy in Stranded

The MW4 Scavenger trophy asks you to “repair everything in Base Camp” during the Stranded mission. It’s worth 50G on Xbox and Gold on PlayStation. Sounds simple. It isn’t! Plenty of players have paid for every weapon repair and still got nothing. This guide covers the four confirmed repairs and the extra gear players are finding.

How to Get the MW4 Scavenger Trophy in Stranded
Scavenger belongs to Stranded, Mission 10 of the campaign. You play as Private Park and return to Base Camp, an underground hub run by Sgt. Jae. It has workbenches where you pay Supplies to repair gear.
You start the mission with 0 Supplies. A wrench counter on your HUD shows your balance, and the bench warns you if you can’t afford a repair. So you explore first and spend later. The map is open, with three sabotage targets (Jamming Station, SAM Site, and Bunker) that you can hit in any order. You can head back to Base Camp between them. That is how you get the campaign trophy.

All Confirmed Base Camp Weapon Repairs and Costs
Four weapon repairs have confirmed prices. Three share the first bench. The Scoped LMG is on a separate one, so check both stations, or you’ll miss it.
| Repair | Cost (Supplies) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pistol Underbarrel Shotgun | 5 | First bench |
| Silenced Thermal Sniper | 20 | First bench, unlocks Astaroth .57 |
| Silenced AR | 25 | First bench, unlocks Han 86 |
| Scoped LMG | 30 | Separate bench |
The four weapons are only part of the list. There is other repairable gear at Base Camp, including Grenade Launcher, Tactical Gloves, Tactical Boots, Snow Ghillie Suit, Apoc-338, PM-40 Anvil, and Dunn’s Mortar Launcher.
Walk up to the weapon after checking the price and hit interact (E on PC). The Supplies leave your balance immediately, and the rifles show an unlock notification and join the gun wall. That adds up to 80 Supplies. It’s not much, but you start at zero, so finding it is the real work. Don’t read 80 as the full Scavenger bill, though. It only covers these four priced prompts.

Note: The free pickups (Parachute, Backpack Upgrade, 2-Plate Vest, NVGs) aren’t paid repairs, so leave them out of your Supplies budget.
How to Fix MW4 Scavenger Not Unlocking
Below is everything I found from players on Reddit who had similar problems. It’s not a guaranteed fix. You might still get nothing. But it won’t hurt to try them out.
If you’ve repaired everything on the tables and Scavenger still won’t pop, check Semtex. Several players on Reddit say crafting it triggered the trophy. One went back to Base Camp after finishing the campaign, crafted Semtex, and got the pop right away. Another says the option only appeared after they used up their equipped lethals.
This is the best lead so far, and the one competing guides skip. A player on Reddit found a Vulcan sniper near the big statue at the SAM Site. Pick it up, head back to Base Camp, and a suppressor craft reportedly shows up on the table under the ammo bag. Players say crafting it is what finally popped Scavenger.
The player who found it had already repaired everything else, Semtex included. Several others in the thread say the same route worked for them. The recipe wasn’t there until the sniper was in hand, which is a sneaky design choice, if you ask me.

Where to Find Supplies
Pick the explorer route when the game offers it. The fast companion route skips the map, and you need those pickups.
Supplies turn up in these spots:
- The cabinet near the sofa in the small outpost
- The upper shelf of the damaged hangar near the Jamming Station
- Desks in exterior offices
- Yellow Supply Caches
- Keypad containers
Don’t only follow the collectibles, though. Supplies also hide in random spots away from notes and crates. Yes, it’s tedious.
| Keypad location | Code |
|---|---|
| Base Camp radio tower | 0024 |
| Cliff near Base Camp | 0600 |
| Island Bunker | 0008 |
| Southeast village | 0078 |
| South of Jamming Station | 8609 |
| Highway sign | 1234 |
| Farm field bunker | 0330 |
| Small river island | 6789 |
Pro-Tip: Start with 0024. It’s right by Base Camp, and the container also holds a Tactical Map.
That’s everything about the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Scavenger trophy. Did I miss a pro-tip for this achievement? Write it in the comments below.
FAQ
Do the 26 Yellow Supply Caches count for Scavenger?
No. Opening all 26 unlocks Time to Crate, a separate Gold trophy. You can gett the Scavenger while still missing a crate.
Is Scavenger officially bugged?
Not officially. Activision’s known-issues page, as of Oct 16, lists no Scavenger problem. If you’ve checked every craft, report it through Activision Support with your platform and build.
Can I go back to Base Camp after finishing Stranded?
Yes. The free-roam map stays open and Stranded saves separately from the campaign checkpoint, so use Mission Select. Don’t restart the campaign, since nothing shows you’d need to. Saving isn’t guaranteed for every missed recipe.
