COD MW4 Island Hidden Bunker Location and Code (Stranded)

The MW4 Island Hidden Bunker is one of those secrets you could easily walk past during the Stranded mission. It’s tucked away in the riverbed, with a locked hatch and a keypad puzzle involving nearby Infantry Checkpoints.

Luckily, you don’t have to track down every checkpoint to get inside. The keypad code is 0008, and I’ve got the exact location too, so you can grab the loot without wasting half the mission looking for a hidden door.

MW4 Island Hidden Bunker Location in Stranded

The Island Hidden Bunker, also known as the NW Island Bunker, is located around coordinates 615, 168 on the Stranded map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

I’d use Infantry Checkpoint #1 as a starting point. It’s southwest of the Water Treatment Building, near coordinates 633, 170. From there, cross the river heading west and look along the cliffside. The entrance is a concrete structure down in the riverbed, so don’t waste time searching the higher ground. It’s easy to walk past if you’re not looking carefully.

When you reach the bunker, you’ll notice a locked hatch with a keypad. There’s also a note on the wall beside it called the Island Hidden Bunker Note. Make sure to read it if you’re collecting notes during the mission.

MW4 Island Hidden Bunker Keypad Code (0008)

The Island Hidden Bunker code is 0008.

The note beside the hatch explains that the combination is the sum of the numbered Infantry Checkpoints along the river. Adding those checkpoint numbers gives you 8, which becomes 0008 on the four-digit keypad.

You can clear the Infantry Checkpoints to work out the combination yourself, but that’s not necessary to open the bunker. Just enter 0008, and the hatch will unlock. I’d rather save the extra fighting for later. No need to make a simple math problem any more dangerous than it already is.

What’s Inside the MW4 Island Hidden Bunker?

When you’ve opened the hatch, head down into the bunker. You’ll find another collectible called the NW Island Bunker Note sitting on a desk. There’s also a Yellow Supply Crate inside, along with additional supplies you can pick up before leaving.

The note counts toward your collectible progress, and opening the crate brings you closer to completing the Yellow Supply Crate objective in Stranded. It’s a quick detour if you know where the entrance is, and you won’t have to spend the rest of the mission wondering what’s hiding behind that locked hatch.

With the bunker unlocked and the loot collected, that’s one less secret to worry about in Stranded. Now you can get back to the mission without another keypad demanding your attention.
