Want both Golden Seeds in Mohgwyn Palace? You can actually get them. Just follow this exact path and, most importantly, don’t reset the area in between.
One of these seeds will vanish if you die, rest at a Site of Grace or fast-travel after grabbing the first one. So once you pick up seed number one, stay locked in until you have the second.
Getting Ready
Open your map and drop a couple of markers so the route is clear. You’ll be heading from the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint all the way across the blood lake.
Resting at the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace is fine. Everything after that first seed is the danger zone.
The Corpse Drop Golden Seed Location
From the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace, head up toward the structure. Come up behind the Sanguine Noble, go behind the columns and pass the rock. Look down, you’ll see a glowing purple item on the rocks below. That’s your first Golden Seed.
Just roll down onto the rocks. The enemies up top usually don’t follow you. Grab the seed.
Do Not Reset the Area
From this moment on:
- Do not rest at any Site of Grace
- Do not fast-travel
- Do not die
Run past the Mausoleum Entrance Site of Grace and do not rest there. The putrid corpses should stop chasing you once you’re a bit further on, giving you a second to breathe.
Across the Blood Lake Golden Seed Location
Hop on Torrent and go. Run across the field, around the little ridge, and straight across the lake of blood. Make a sharp right into the secret passageway on the right side.
Drop down through the passage and you’ll be on the other side of the lake. The Golden Seed is right up ahead on the island.
You’ll probably get invaded around here and lose Torrent, but you’re close enough. Just jump up and grab the second seed.
That’s it. Two Golden Seeds in Mohgwyn Palace, no disappearing acts. Ride carefully, don’t panic when the invasion hits and enjoy those extra flask charges.
